1. Roller coaster of the year
Maverick. Nothing else has come close to beating riding that this year. I really did enjoy Ravine Flyer 2, TTD, Piraten and Juvelen as well.
2. Water ride of the year
Has got to be the Rapids at Cedar Point. I'm still to this day glad we took our shoes off before...
I'm into these now, so may as well kick start the next couple of parks!
So next up and moving into March and the start of the season! First up would have to be good old Thorpe!
Thorpe Park - 14th March
So here we are again, start of 2013 and we're at Thorpe! Fresh faced after a long hard...
Now that the year is slowing down a little and I’ve had a crazy year with trips here there and everywhere, I think it’s finally time to try and document just what I’ve got up to this year and share it with you! You’ll have to bear with me as there’s a lot of trips and very little time!
The...
As each year goes, I seem to get more and more creds!
2011 was when I really started building up my cred count! I can't quite remember how many I obtained that year!
2012 was the first trip to the states and few other little trips here and there and I picked up a nice 113 creds that year...
All of the announcements are now on this page!

Seriously, some of that stuff looks insane. The drop tower on Kingda Ka is ridiculous, but looks amazing!!!
Goliath looks utterly brilliant.
Magic Mountain is turning Batman and Colossus backwards! And...
Considering I only started flying in 2010, I've been to a fair few airports.
Gatwick
Heathrow
Stansted
Luton
Birmingham
Gothenburg Landvetter
Geneva
Frankfurt Hahn
Eindhoven
Verona
Rome Ciampino
Barcelona El Prat
Hamburg
Paris Charles de Gaulle
Amsterdam Schipol
Billund
Madrid...
1 - Raptor
The head/foot choppers work, it's fun, fairly forceful and just a downright good coaster. If only B&M had stuck with their prototype ideas...
2 - Swarm/Marws
Good fun, but doesn't flow as well as Raptor. Some of the head/foot choppers work, the majority don't. The backwards...
We got to ride it today as well! Massive thanks to yourself Kristof!!
Really good fun ride! Really re ride able!
Walibi have done a really good job on this one! :)
Will post a more in depth review when home!
Massive thanks to Kristof again and those at Walibi! :D

Re: Crazy Erie trip - PTR
This needs some love! This trip was something else! I still can't believe we actually done it and all in such a short space of time! Nutters!
If it wasn't for the stamps in my passport, I wouldn't think we actually done it lol!
I'll add a little more here when I get...
It's quite nice to look back at my previous post in this topic and see just how much plans have actually changed! It's also nice to think that this year I was hoping to hit 350 creds and gone over that already and only just over half way through the year!
So:
February: Disneyland Paris...
Re: Top 10: 2013 Edition
So as of 2 weeks ago, my current top 10 looked a bit like this!
Thanks to a little visit to Cedar Point and a visit to Denmark, it now looks a little different!
1 - Skyrush - Hershey Park
2 - Maverick - Cedar Point
3 - Bizarro - Six Flags New England
4 - iSpeed -...
Bam! Done! It takes some serious dedication to do what I've just done to ride this bloody thing! Work was fairly quiet this afternoon and they owed me a couple of hours for staying until a ridiculous time on Friday night! So I took the opportunity today and headed up for a couple of hours. I...
Re: Alton Towers | The Smiler | Unknown Gerstlauer World's 1
The music is brilliant! I've just watched the POV and that music will be going through my head for a while now!
It's got that sinister but fun twist to it! Love it!
I was really tempted to not watch that POV, but I have. All I will...
Parque Warner Madrid just linked on their FB page to a video of a recent TV program that was filmed about the making of a GIB.
It was in Spanish, but I found an English one, it's actually pretty fab! It is based on the construction of one in China that opened in 2011. Shows everything including...
This has just popped up on my Twitter feed and having just come back it has really creeped me out! It's in Spanish, so I'll just post a rough translation from Google!
The ride was down all day for maintenance and 2/3 guys were working on it throughout the day. Clearly they were from Huss...
Re: Alton Towers | The Smiler | Unknown Gerstlauer World's 1
Fantastic!!
The off-ride video has surprised me by the speed of thing. It looks just utterly fantastic. Gerstlauer's more recent coasters seem to be packing an almighty punch when it comes to speed.
I am just hoping that it's not...
Re: Alton Towers | The Smiler | Unknown Gerstlauer World's 1
I've got a feeling that the yellow bridge in question is a access point for evacuation from the 2nd lift hill and not part of the queue line.
Why I say that is because the queue line is down the other end of the site and it's a...
Re: Alton Towers | The Smiler | Unknown Gerstlauer World's 1
I've just seen this comment by Alton on their FB page in relation to someone asking whether it's open yet or not:
Also, here's a picture of the full train on the track.
