JoraVision posted a post on their website explaining their challenges and what Exotic World consists of: http://joravision.com/news/exoticworld
(And yes some pictures are mine and proud of it! ;) )
Let's start! (BTW I know that Kristof already posted stuff but I am mid exams and haven't had time to post the pictures so here we go:)
9th JUne 2018 was Exotic World's inauguration. Here are some pictures that I took and my personal experience!
We all received this VIP EXPLORER pass so that...
As you may know Walibi is re-theming the themepark and building new coasters every year.
One week ago I took pictures of this beautiful, new and re-themed zone called Exotic World! (I will not put a lot of pictures just the important stuff!)
Let's start with the view of this new world...
Here are my Tiki-Waka pictures!
First of all here is the Tiki-Waka Station!
This is the entrance to the ride.
The queue:
So at your right you directly see this statue/totem looking thing:
And suddenly you see the long waiting-line with this beautiful view.
Taking pictures...
I talked to Marc Guffens at the persconference and he told me that what you will see as 'concept art' will actually not be that big of a 'concept' they will try to make the end result look as identical as possible! So what you will see is what you will get.
Omg I am on this picture HAHAHA WHAT!? Maybe you will recognise yourself on my pictures? Pictures coming soon I am currently editting them (and it's very difficult because the weather here in Belgium sucks, so a lot of them are very dark...)
Walibi had a lot of visitors! It's just the camera perspective that makes you think that no one's there.
Next week I think that they will be completely done, it's just a matter of time before they put every little detail together to make it enjoyable to look at and to ride!
Will be there to take...
Yesterday was the first Soft-Opening and I've got some great pictures for you right here! :D
Before opening the ride a lot of employees who work in Walibi tested the ride to see if it was safe.
The director of Walibi Belgium (Jean-Christophe Parent) also rode it:
(Here a picture of him if you...
I don't really know about this but I've heard that it's to sort of see if the wagon, train thingy (still don't know how to call this) is calibrated or something. If the train goes too fast thru these, the brakes will be activated. If it goes too slow there will be no stop.
You are extremely right about this. I took pictures of Pulsar that no one had, they stole all my pictures and didn't credit me for them. Also stole a video that was on my facebook-page with more than 300.000 views and 2.900 likes and USED it on their site and MADE MONEY OUT OF IT. That was the...
Tomorrow the themepark opens it's doors! But we got a little sneak-peek of the Exotic World. (Pictures taken by me)
SPOILER: A LOT OF PICTURES (MORE THAN 20)
Here we go:
When you Enter the Exotic World you get greeted by this beautiful sign!
This is the station :D (It's still being build, in...
It's funny because I always forget about this ride :emoji_joy: ... No but really, the people that live around Walibi always complain about something... When you go into Villa 13 you don't even hear the Cobra or the other rides, that means that the houses are sound-proof. Maybe you can hear the...
Maybe it is dirty because of all the mud...

Don't want to double comment so I am going write it down here.
In Walibi Belgium there was this kind-of "zone" called the "death-zone", some fans called it that way because there was nothing to ride there... The only thing that was situated there...
No it's not the camera's angle and yes those planks ARE really there... Walibi confirmed on Twitter that those planks will be taken down. Personally I think it's to support that wooden structure.
