But we are the judges... the people who enter the competition judge each others work. All that the competition leader needs to do is copy and paste the descriptions and screenshots into a single post, this takes no longer than 15 minutes.
Since the results have evidently got lost or something, here's what I made. It's based around a sea monster which sunk a ship or something. I don't remember the exact story.
WANT - RCT3 - COMPO - RESULTS - FROM - AGES - AGO! :P
On a more constructive note, parts of that corner look really awkward. I wonder if that section will be 'underground' or 'in a forest'.
Call me an idiot, but i'm currently reinstalling No Limits but i can't find the download link anywhere, all the links on the website are for the demo?
Edit:
I just checked my email from them i got when i bought it and got this message:
"Your download link has expired. You can no longer...
I really don't think they need to worry about 'keeping the framerate down'. No Limits runs insanely smoothly compared to modern games and if the trees did make it lag on laptops they could include a low quality tree setting?
Wow, that model/animation is absolutely fantastic - far better than most of the simulations that parks produce. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get yourself known to a few theme parks!
Click 'Start' then 'Run' (or type in the search box of Vista/7).
Type: dxdiag
Then hit ENTER. Go to the 'Display' tab and read out the name of the graphics card (the first line of info) as that's a good place to start.
They say Rita is being altered, but don't state that it will open on the 20th with Thirteen. Does this mean they're doing a bit more than slapping some paint on it? Some near-miss sections of theming or a tunnel section would really just make it a bit more memorable.
That's how i ran it before, and it just didn't provide too much excitement or challenge :(
Creating a high speed was just a case of making the steepest possible lift for that coaster type and dropping the coaster down to the lowest point in the level. To get X inversions you can just blag it...
After months of experimenting... all the different methods of gameplay and scoring have failed to work too well :(
So, can anyone think of a really clever way to actually 'play' the game and score points etc?
If not, the game may end up being more of a simulator.
