No real visual update i'm afraid. As i'm slipping into a good routine with work i'm finding more time to work with the game which makes me happier.
While i was previously developing the game in Clickteam's Multimedia Fusion i've switched to C# now which gives it Xbox potential, but the Xbox...
Well, the trains certainly look pretty ugly in motion, but at least it's running! Fast lift hill too, doesn't seem like it will disrupt the ride at all.
Ok, thanks! Good pics!
What makes that "boo-chah" sound that is made as each train enters/exits the station. Can be heard here:

Unfortunately those links didn't work :(
So let me get this right:
Flying coaster: The bar lowers 1 or 2 feet to raise/lower the cars.
Inverted coaster: The bar lowers a few inches to hit the small connectors at the top left of the cars?
Ah, thanks!
I was under the impression that the horizonal beam on inverted coaster stations raised and lowered, but now i realise i'm thinking of flying coasters!
This is true.
Maybe everyone submits a terrain, you choose one to build with. And you get points for each person who chooses your terrain, as well as how good your park is?
Could have it as a small competition?
1) Each contestant creates a small terrain for a park.
2) The parks are randomly swapped between players (you can't end up with your own).
3) You build a small park (1 or 2 coasters with a few thrill rides etc).
4) Submit them as entries and rate...
I second this, i prefer playing 'scenario' type parks which have the land all layed out and ready to build. It's not so fun when you've designed all the terrain yourself though.
Brrrrrrrr... i'm currently working full time, which is, quite time consuming. When i get settled into a good cycle with this job i'll work more on the game.
Well i was under the impression that i had a day or two to resubmit my entry before missing the deadline - not 2 months!
I'm not blaming you, i just think its unfair that i lose out on points because of this, i'm not trying to act like a sore loser! :)
I'll see if i can make time to write...
I'm going to get 0 points for story even though i submitted one and it was lost? That seems unfair for everyone who had to resubmit their entry after it was lost by the organiser.
I'll grade them tomorrow evening.
