Not usually when it's THORPE PARK we're talking about! ;)
I suppose the new 'Roast and Relish' food outlet next to Flying Fish makes up for the food unit on the island, then.
Nerd have been posting their videos on their YouTube channel (ThemeParkNerdLive). There's some brilliant ones of the...
^ By some of the other photographs on Thorpe Nerd, I believe the woman in the wheelchair is an actress.
Does anybody know if this 'Food and Beverage unit' in the top right hand corner of the below picture has actually been built, or if Thorpe have kept to their old tradition and missed...
Looking at the pictures, it seems they have actually built every single feature included in the plans! Incredible effort from the construction and theming workers here - this looks to be as it could be the best themed ride in England!
'Scream shields'? Never heard of them until today! :P
Hmm... they look bloody hideous and I would feel a bit claustrophobic riding a ride with them installed. It's good that they prevent noise pollution, but they desperately need to be redesigned to fix the above problems.
^ Well, CEMEX (owners of RMC Group - creators of Thorpe Park) now have their quarry to the North-West of the park, with their offices in the old manor next to the farm.
Laughing so hard at how whenever I mention something you all get pissed off and moan at me not to 'keep bringing this ****' up, yet for some reason on this thread, you're ranting and raving about it without me even having to mention it? Very hypocritical, don't you think?
I agree, it would be great if it was an enclosed station with perhaps strobe lighing and smoke (*cough* Vampire *cough*), but there we have it. Although, I don't think it would look too bad on a rainy day - a church with it's roof ripped of with rain gushing into it... onto the heads of riders...
^ It certainly looks like it would. :S
But it'd have to be extremely precise timing for both rides to be there in the right place at the right time. A bit like how you used to get wet on Canada Creek Railway if the train was passing Loggers Leap at the right time, and sometimes your feet get...
I thought you were the ones who wanted this discussion to end. If you don't want to talk about it, **** shut up.
THORPE PARK just uploaded a new video to their Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/thorpepark
Apparently war has begun! :--D
I'd go for the large flat-screen TV. Should be nice with a bit of Ketchup.
Would you rather spend the night in an abandoned insane asylum or kick the wall so hard you stub all your toenails?
"Because I want to whine"? No, because I wanted to put an end the pathetic slagging match you all wanted to have. Now leave it.
They're discussing a band that are apparently coming up with a song written specifically for THE SWARM. I highly doubt that it will be the only music in the area, but...
I think Gavin is probably right. Merlin do seem to be skilled in making offers sound a lot better than they actually are.
If they do ever release this 'Super Annual Pass', this had better be one of its perks!
