I celebrated the opening of The Swarm at school today by cheering loudly in class at 10:00. Probably looked like an absolute twat, but couldn't let the event pass without celebration! :)

I'm assuming the 'somebody' you're talking about Merlin Entertainments, the company that own both of these names, and ultimately have the final say in what they are called. But of course, they're obviously incorrect, the fools! XD

Nah, before my time! Does anyone remember Carousel Kingdom at Thorpe? It was in what is now Amity Boardwalk Games. I *might* have been on this carousel once or twice before it closed in 2000, but I would only have been a toddler at the time.

I understand what people mean when they say it's good that the disabled queue will no longer cause congestion, but... it's a claustraphobically narrow pathway with a steep flight of stairs at the end... in other words, not a way I'd be happy to see disabled guests access the ride. Obviously...

And, with that... now that The Swarm is opening in a few hours and everything... Can't wait 'til 2015 now. New roller coaster at Thorpe, you see. ;)
