Re: Phantasialand to demolish the Western area for something
Yes. The german fans have seen lot's of Intamin wrapped equipment, as well as Intamin cars on site.
You can't, they are the only two identical tracks in the industry.
Re: Kolmårdens Djurpark | Wildfire | RMC Wooden Coaster
The county board actually supported the ride, it's the people (around 20) who have filed appeals who believe it's a threat to the nature and the animals.
The ride was scheduled to restart construction in April, but that's out of the...
Re: Kolmårdens Djurpark | Wildfire | RMC Wooden Coaster
BREAKING!
Kolmården have lost it's permission to build Wilfire!
The town gave permission which have been appealed up until the higher level of "county" government which have now rejected the coaster.
It will most likely be appealed...
Re: Marina Park | unknown | Gerstlauer launched
According to Coastersandmore the ride is from Intamin.
Also looks like rcdb wasn't sure, it dosen't say anything now about who's making it.
I like Timberliners, they are awesome on Twister, and my second favorite wooden coaster train. Hopefully they will do a better job than Mt. Olympus integrating them. I think it is strongly up to the standard of track how tight they can adjust the wheel boogies.
It should also take away a lot...
^ That's right, linear1982 knows the people behind the ride!
I can definitely see why they are calling it a diving loop, instead of an Immelmann. It's a completely new element, different from the regular Immelmann's.
From what I've seen the fins in the valley before the over bank actually look...
Re: I-Drive Orlando | Skyscraper| US Thrill Rides
The coaster is apparently being made by Intamin, as well as the drop ride, but designed by Alan schilke's company, no involvement of S&S.
Re: New Wanda Parks (Intamin Layout & Dueling Tilt Coasters?
Sacsha is the head of Intamin Europe. It's actually my wife who writes to him, and she always gets an answer in due time.
It was Sandor, from Intaride, who said that the savings was mostly done in the foundations, and that is why...
IF they are in fact having Great Coasters add an inversion, here's where I would prefer to have it. This way they could have it start like the first half a corkscrew and end like the second half of a zero-g-roll.
Re: New Wanda Parks (Intamin Layout & Dueling Tilt Coasters?
No, not that capacity. The capacity at the facility who manufacturers the rail and supports.
I can imagine that the square supports are faster to produce.
That is the only thing I can think of, as I don't think they have any real...
Re: New Wanda Parks (Intamin Layout & Dueling Tilt Coasters?
I honestly have no idea. I wonder if it's a capacity thing maybe.
There's also no real pattern to follow either. Both Formula Rossa and the new ride at Vialand uses the round supports as well.
I'd be real surprised if it's the old...
Well it seems I forgot the link this time!
I really like the minimalistic fell of the new seat!
From what I've heard of the Skyrush restraints, I don't think anyone will design ones like them again!
