    Gemini or Colossus?

Really? Gemini sucks? Is horrible? I felt what seemed to be decent floater airtime while going down the dips. And its slow pacing on the (slightly) banked turns then suddenly dropping was at least a little bit of a rush. Good headchoppers, too. I can't help but either duck or close my eyes...

    Gemini or Colossus?

Gemini. Smoother and more graceful, obviously due to the steel tubular track. Colossus has a lot of friction. This could change though of course if RMC does redo Colossus.

    My handful of coaster questions...

Good question. I've always wondered that myself. Doesn't it drop all the way down to around ground level? If it does in fact, we could know it's at least 300 ft. But since the official drop height was never revealed, maybe indeed it is shy of 300 @ 299 or something, since falling short of the...

Which coaster should get the "Iron Horse" treatment next

Re: Which coaster should get the "Iron Horse" treatment next ^ Sounds alright. Didn't think of that one.

Roller coaster names: best and worst fitting?

^ Yeah that's pretty simple, yet effective. Point taken. Disagreed. I wouldn't rank these among the most misfitted names. qft

Roller coaster names: best and worst fitting?

There are a lot of cool names for roller coasters, but which ones really fit their theme and actual ride experience best? And which names don't really fit their coaster at all? From the top of my head, best: Maverick actually is one hell of a wild ride. Leviathan really is huge, even compared...

Which coaster should get the "Iron Horse" treatment next

Re: Which coaster should get the "Iron Horse" treatment next I just thought, if Mean Streak gets an RMC makeover, would it be renamed? Despite the ride itself, I've always thought the name "Mean Streak" sounded pretty cool, even more so since it complements the name of its smaller sibling...

    My handful of coaster questions...

Current question: Since Apollo's Chariot and Raging Bull used pre-drops, why didn't Nitro?

Best and Worst Roller Coaster Manufacturer

Best: Adding to popular opinion, I also say (a tie between) B&M and Intamin as well, which I'm pretty sure there's no need to explain why at this point. Worst: Equally interesting question, but I'm not sure. I don't focus too much attention on how crap manufacturers can be. I sorta forget about...

    Scariest Roller Coaster You've Ridden

Good definition. When I first started getting into roller coasters, Magnum XL-200 and Goliath (SFMM) were some of my first rides. Needless to say, my tolerance for coaster adrenaline was very low at that point, which left me completely overwhelmed and shocked while going down their massive...

I had thought of mentioning X and don't know why I actually didn't. Nevertheless, good points.

When did you ride your first "big" roller coaster?

The year 2001 @ 12 years old, Magnum XL-200, which was my first roller coaster anyway.

Which coaster should get the "Iron Horse" treatment next

Agreed! Mean Streak for sure. Needless to say it would also potentially skyrocket the ride's reputation and get its popularity back up to par.
