Valkyria is really fun, an impressive first drop followed by a fun, floaty layout. It isn't forceful or intense, but just really good fun. Also flying through the blue mist at night is amazing.

I've read on another forum that they closed an hour early today, yet it was sunny and reasonably warm.

I understand that BPB have once again taken the decision to close two hours earlier than advertised today, due to weather.

Could it maybe be an issue caused by the changed gradient on the lifthill? It would potentially explain why it hasn't happened on other GCI's.

Wicker Man, because it's a new wooden coaster and the public love it, therefore proving the Merlin "research" stating that the public viewed them as unsafe as complete rubbish. Of course, both are fantastic quality additions at their respective parks, and I personally prefer Icon.

On my last visit to BPB the FY4 balcony was open, which meant that these views were possible :( The same spot last year; I still haven't forgiven them for this!

I found the rattle to just be a noise, rather than actually affecting the ride experience. I don't think it's an issue really, anyone heard some of the noises The Smiler makes? :emoji_astonished:
