It is a very fun coaster with quite some good airtime moments and an impressive view on the city.
I guess the major surprising coasters I stumble over are usually in some Chinese Parks.
At least Spain has some parks in contrast to Portugal, which might not have any parks because of the same reasons Spanish parks are struggling.
I guess the problem might be that even tourists that are close are looking for another kind of tourism (party, party, party) and the economic crisis...
Oh, and Dæmonen for Tivoli Copenhagen. So compact and nicely themed. A B&M for a Tivoli is still such a surprise. Unfortunately it still let's me hope for another major coaster for the park but it doesn't have enough space.
Black Mamba at Phantasialand was a real surprise. At this time no one would have expected any inversions at the park and of course no B&M.
Hansapark adding Kärnan still is stunning and impressive. Especially the effect inside of the tower.
Toverland building Fenix, a B&M Wing Coaster for a...
I guess the ****storm they got for the La Liga announcement made them cancel it and they decided to build a new coaster. It is called "Apology - The Ride". Seriously now. Knowing PA this tweet could mean anything ... but fingers crossed.
There are always some parks which seem to gamble with the lineup of their rollercoasters' lifespans. Dreamworld AUS had to close two major coasters while "only" open one new one. Of course quantity is not the only thing to consider when it comes to attracting visitors.
Blooloop writes that the resort is now officially looking for suppliers. I cannot stop myself from thinking about this project actually becoming reality some day. On the other hand so many other projects have already failed and never opened.
Does anybody know how much a Free Spin costs? I am wondering why none has been built in Europe yet as they seem to be affordable but perhaps being home to three Zac Spins European parks have learned a lesson.
Living in Europe I have to think of spanish parks in general and the Looping Group parks. I know there have been some additions in the park of the Looping group but I consider them to be very cost effective and bland.
At least Warner Madrid seems to get a new coaster but let's see how this...
Having grown up near the city I am still upset that the Universal Studios Germany never have been built. Here is a video about the project:
The plans were published when I was a teen and I am still upset when I drive by the city.
I didn't want to start a discussion about the park in general, but I can just agree with what some of you said. It has some quite nice rides for teens and families. The issues I see are that most things appear to be chaotic and stuff is run down. Most attractions only were run by one employee...
While the Sky Dragster is closed today, the park seems to build a new one behind the Rafting. Looking at the foundations it seems to be a shorter version of the old layout. Single rail track is on site and Löwenthal seems to start the assembly. Track is white and blue and on site, too. Can be...
My boyfriend is an architect and he says that only the use of areas has to be published. So as the area has always been used as part of the theme park, nothing has to be made accessible to the public. That's why Phantasialand also can always hide what they are doing.
Exciting that nothing but a...
I think disinfectants need time to disinfect, some at least 30 seconds. Disinfect every handle would simply cost too much time. Just wiping off the handles would not kill the virus and give people a false sense of security. Disinfecting your hands after every ride would be the better option I guess.
I agree that opening the coaster 2021 might be more clever marketing. But the problem I see is that no one really know what a season 2021 will look like. Can parks run on normal capacity? No one knows. So they might as well open the coaster this year and sell the amount of tickets the park can...
