Thanks for this! I’ve gone and ordered my ticket, for what I think is an excellently price though shocking exchange rate.
That’s not the most direct route you’re taking, but sounds awesome! Presume you’re flying between all of them. (And I thought considering Energylandia the next weekend...
Woo I’m really excited for this!
My car is now full, but there’s still some drivers and non drivers looking to share.
Just 82 days to go for some Untamed goodness!
AC and I are flying out on Saturday morning - flight arrives at Amsterdam at 8:15 so should be able to get to walibi for opening, and then flight back on the Sunday at 9:30pm so leaving Bobbejaanland around 5pmishshould be fine (closes at 6 but that’s maybe a bit of a gamble with the drive back...
Can’t remember if I signed up, but I’ll be there!
Flying from Luton to Amsterdam, looked to be decent times. Up for sharing a hire car if anyone is interested?
Lech with Formula not too far behind, really excited to see what else they build in the future, they could well be stepping back into the top manufacturer club in the near future.
It looks like the same set up as TT - hold lose articles in your hand while going through metal detector - red stamp and told to put lose articles in zippered pouch if you have items, blue stamp if you’ve not got anything.
Works well in theory, and the zippered pouch behind your knees is...
I don’t know what the maintenance teams track walk tasks entails, but they are done from ground level, walking alongside/under the track, the ride Op teams walked the Route day and night checking for derby and changing the locks to low zones, maintenance went into the low zones every night...
Kinda. I’ve relocated twice to work at parks if that counts? Once was for a summer job at Cedar Point, which was the dream, and then I moved from Canada to England for a job at a park here.
Also, it wasn’t the primary reason for buying my flat where I did, but I was aware it was close to...
USA! Is about 50% of my count with 222 ridden. Only 14% of mine are in the UK.
I’ve ridden every single Coaster in Singapore. That’s my brag of the day.
In no logical order for Coaster currently built:
1. Lightning Rod - Dollywood
2. Outlaw Run - SDC
3. Twisted Timbers - Kings Dominion
4. Intimidator 305 - Kings Dominion
5. Skyrush - Hershey Park
6. DC Rivals - WBMW
7. Hyperion - Energylandia
8. Expedition G Force - Holiday Park
9. Wildfire -...
I prefer to go on quiet days rather than get fast passes.
Admittedly when I git my platinum pass at Carowinds this year it came with a free fast lane plus, and it was nice getting to walk past the stupidly long lines, it if you avoid obviously crazy busy days then they shouldn’t be required.
There were possibly more from earlier on, but from this decade and/or ones I consciously went to for the new cred:
2011: n/a
2012: Leviathan, X-Flight
2013: Gatekeeper
2014: Goliath, Flug der Damonen
2015: n/a
2016: Valraven
2017: Red Force
2018: Wickerman, Steel Vengence, Railblazer, Hangtime...
Steel Vengence is incredible and easily the most impressive ride of 2018.
But I think I was even more impressed by the Intamins announced at IAAPA, which look stunning. They’ve seen what RMC are doing and really stepped up their game.
