FINALLY had my chance to ride Hyperia yesterday, I live a three hour drive away so it's no longer my local park. To be honest, I was expecting it to be overhyped, I figured since it's in the UK (Thorpe, especially), the fellow goons were blowing it out of proportion a little.
After my first go...
Better than nothing.
I really do hope they theme the inside of the buildings nicely, and if the landscaping is done nicely this could turn out very nicely!
Nice to see that somebody is making use of the text formatting options, I can see you're enjoying them.
Never thought I'd defend TPW to this degree, but holding thousands of guests back at one point, only to drop a rope and leave them to their own devices does seem a little reckless though, no...
I thought this too. Don't get me wrong I'm not a mega fan of his, but I don't think he's bitter in this instance as you said!
I just watched his video on Voltron and he enjoys his second ride much more and him and Charlotte are singing the coaster's and the area's praises.
I won't lie, the lack of onboard audio has saddened me a little, they showed off a fantastic piece of music that goes with the layout perfectly and we don't get to hear it whilst on ride!
Does look rather incredible though. The preshow effects before the launch are goofy as hell but I like it...
Tried to reply to this but my signal wouldn’t let me!
Think I mayyy have been right next to you then and didn’t realise! Were you guys in the station when Taron went down the second time at around 16:30 or so? If so, my partner and I were in the air gates for the front row when it happened! We...
At Phantasialand today and have been the last few days, really wishing I’d extended the stay a few days longer and headed to EP but I’ll save it for later!
I’ll be cautiously checking YouTube for POVs on the day, I’m still so intrigued about the interior queue and the show scenes more than...
From what we've seen so far I'd say it looks rather fab, I'm really excited for this. I do hope the outerbank speeds up a little bit (as I'm sure it will) but it already looks great. The twisted airtime hill after the splashdown doesn't look quite as snappy as I thought it would but hard to...
Not sure about the bright blue on the trains but everything else looks marvellous. I remember the blue in the concept art being a bit darker but I imagine this will fade a little in time so it looks like the old trains a bit more. I can't wait to see what part of the park they burn down in 2026...
Sounds like today and yesterday haven’t been great in terms of availability. Taron running two trains (I think that’s understandable though given the events of the week) but Talocan and Chiapas closed and not looking like they’re opening soon. Does anyone know what’s happening with these? I know...
A 43 year old employee died whilst doing maintenance work on Taron yesterday. I don't think police have release much yet.

I think like any theme, it's great when it's done well and looks awful when done on the cheap. I think a bog standard western theme is great with the right people behind it, hopefully this falls into that category.
