Le Pal | Yukon Quad | Intamin Family Launch (Juvelen Mirror Image)

I think it's just electric motors? Pretty certain hydraulic systems use a catchcar.

Not bothered this time around. I was much more excited about the Smiler but I was five years younger then

S&S Sansei bringing back the steeplechase coaster.

All three were running when I was there... but that was in 2013. I don't understand how it is unsafe - it has operated since the 70s and nobody has fallen off?

Darien Lake | Tantrum | Gerstlauer Eurofighter

I don't like the name. But at least it's unique... I guess?

Olympia Looping returning to Winter Wonderland?

There's a pop of airtime in the backseat and the two.loops are great. The rest of the ride... Not so much imo

Olympia Looping returning to Winter Wonderland?

I found it so rough, one of only a handful of coasters that I found painful to ride. The only coaster as bad as it that comes to mind is the tornado at M&D's Am glad it's gone since I got the credit last year

    Best coaster throughput?

So I watched a couple of YT videos of Olympia Looping at Hyde Park, at full capacity trains are dispatched at 35-40 second intervals. By my calculation that's 2880 riders/hour. I can't think of any single-track coaster with a higher throughput. Now multiply 2880 by £9 a shot - theoretically at...

S&S Sansei bringing back the steeplechase coaster.

There was this one: At Steeplechase park, Coney Island. Of course, not an Arrow, but I think this was inspiration for Arrow's design

Olympia Looping returning to Winter Wonderland?

It sucks but the HPWWO page has been reliable so far. I'm trying to find another winter wonderland in/near the UK on the scale of Hyde Park but I can't :(

Olympia Looping returning to Winter Wonderland?

Just read on the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland page that Hollenblitz won't be coming this year. Oh well don't think it's worth going if no new credits.

The Amazing Story Of The Schwarzkopf That Just Opened 35 Years Late.

Thank you so much for sharing, great news:D I always liked the look of these Jet Star coasters, they seem to achieve a lot more than the equivalent Pinfari Zyklon coasters do. I have yet to ride one though

Blackpool Pleasure Beach | Icon | Mack Multi-Launch

Hopefully it will look nice on a sunny day - maybe mixed in with all the other colours of coaster track at blackpool it will look quite good?

Wild Mouse at BPB Closure - R.I.P. 1958-2017

It was 2012, I remember being worried I would miss out. I rode I in 2013. I sure hope it never shuts!

Olympia Looping returning to Winter Wonderland?

If Hollenblitz was confirmed, I would go for sure. I wish they could confirm the rides list a bit earlier so people can make their plans.

Most dangerous behavior you've seen at a park?

When waiting in line for Detonator at Thorpe, two boys threw their shoes from the top of the ride, luckily nobody was hit but the tower was shut for 5 minutes They weren't even kicked out of the park for it

Always coke in a can for me although work only serves pepsi and it wasn't as bad as I remembered when I tried it

TPR - 1 Million YouTube Subscribers

I find him annoying so I don't watch his videos, unless as said above it's the only POV of a coaster or something. I do dip into the forums sometimes but I find the way it is setup with discussion threads for each park encourages conversation even when there is nothing to talk about. Also the...

    How to LEGALLY record POVs?

I dont understand why they can't duel them with the extra security though? Everyone's pockets are empty once they reach the station. Doesn't matter anymore though since they are closing soon

Olympia Looping returning to Winter Wonderland?

I would expect it to be there, it's been there the past few years. Nowadays it's always spinning mice. Maybe increased safety inspections or fuel is more expensive? Also I think the spinning coasters use fewer trailers.

Olympia Looping returning to Winter Wonderland?

I might go back this year depends on if I can save enough money and if there are any new credits. The Olympia Looping was great (except the restraints) but not really enough to justify coming all the way from Scotland when I've already been on it
