It's bitter sweet when Disney keep announcing new attractions but at the expense of existing ones.
Sucks to be losing Muppet Vision, WDW is on 27,000 acres, it's not like they don't have any space to expand without removing things.
I really hope they move it into the Magic Eye theatre in Epcot.
So there isn't a backwards facing row it has rotated and placed on top of a concrete platform, so one row will face towards The Blade and the other towards Galactica.
I guess this is the main reason for creating the concrete platform or one row would have just faced towards the trees behind.
I do agree but I view it as them undoing the bad decisions that were made previously.
Nemesis Sub Terra should never have closed, Ripsaw should have been replaced rather than just removed and the whole Retro Squad was just strange and cheapened the areas.
Albeit 10 years later than it should...
That is a good point, I would guess the Sonic IP is now unattainable since 2020 and the huge success of the Sonic the Hedgehog movies. Merlin dropped the ball by using the IP in 2009 for just a quick retheme of Spinball Whizzer.. That IP deserves it's own land and they could have ridden off the...
That steep drop off the cliff top is going to be something special.
Does it crest the 600ft hill using only gravity? Or does it hit some LSMs to launch it along the way?
You would think they would just close BTM at the same time they start construction on the new cars land?
It is going to be closed for a year to reopen inside a construction site in 2026?
Oh not good!
Hopefully it’s as simple as that bit of theming that hides the door mechanism has somehow come loose and been damaged and isn’t another prolonged period of down time.
It’s encouraging to hear the MP saying that he will do all he can.
It’s great to keep getting these small updates too. If it all went completely silent for a prolonged period of time then I would start to get worried.
I was thinking - Is it just poor design from Mack the fact this has valleyed twice in that element now?
Surely there is the technology these days to design an element and take into consideration all the different variables, temperatures, weather, train weight, etc?
The fact that on the drop...
As others have said with the colder weather now this is could be a regular occurence every winter.
Pretty big deal if every time it happens they have to crane the train off the track and the coaster goes down for a few days and then down to 1 train operation for a while longer.
Rita is still very popular at AT too. I was at the park Friday and the queue time was pretty long all day with no downtime and 2 trains ops. It was also running incredibly well, I was pleasantly surprised.
Be a sad day when there are no more Hydraulic launch coasters around, LSMs just don’t...
Damn. Not good at all.
Begs the question of how did the person not hear or see the coaster train approaching and why on earth would they carry out a test run if the track was under maintenance works and being worked on.
