Let’s look at it this way… if you own a property and you decide to knock it down and then rebuild it completely the same - you would need to get planning permission and building control involved.
If you are to knock down a single wall and then rebuild the wall - you wouldn’t need to notify...
Wow, just wow!
Ultimately this looks pretty incredible, the pacing, the Zero G and dear god the Loop…
Mack are truly on a roll recently and can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
A very measly 8… I’ve broken them down by the order I rode the coasters in.
Oblivion - Alton Towers
Air / Galactica - Alton Towers
Nemesis - Alton Towers
Nemesis Inferno - Thorpe Park
The Swarm - Thorpe Park
Shambhala - PortAventura
Dragons Khan - PortAventura

Speaking of El Rio rapids at Bobbejaanland - @chainedbanana; do you know if the trough bypassing the windmill lift was put in after the ride was constructed?
I’ve just watched a POV video and it’s very strange to see the lift / drop in situ and you just float past it.
I just can’t help but feel this investment might be a way of filling the line up “if” and this is a “if” Colossus will be retired?

Of course people have made some very good educated guess at the...

Now I love a good list @Nicky Borrill
1. B&M Hyper
2. RMC
3. Mack Extreme Spinner
4. Massive Intamin Blitz
5. Intamin Hyper
@Matt N - a lot of the infrastructure / utilities wouldn’t require planning permission and it is the first job to take place with most project like this and more than likely Chessington would have been liaising with the local authority on a regular basis and would know if it’s being approved...
I think when the content creator has to put as follows
** it will open in a set year unless it’s delayed or the project is cancelled - says something about the prediction
I have no doubt Merlin have struck a multi unit deal with a manufacturer and I would love to see both the Thorpe and Alton...
