    CF Lives 2023... and beyond

I completely understand where you are coming from Ian, I’m a busy man and find the gatherings with more on offer a lot more appealing for the very limited days I’m able to allocate to being a goon. That being said I’m keen for the day in Thorpe in April and Chessington later in the year to get...

In your view, what is wrong with British public transport and what would you do to solve the problems?

I'm going to keep it simple... It's far too expensive - why get the train when you can drive for a fraction of the cost, espcially if there is more than one of you going somewhere. It's far too unreailbe - if you need to get somewhere for a specific time, you can guartenee the bus / train or...

CWOA | Mandrill Mayhem (World of Jumanji) | B&M Wing Coaster | 2023

In terms of doubling up the seating; the potential for over 2,400kg of additional weight is going to have a massive impact on the engineering aspect of the ride design and the additional stress from the load would pretty much rule making the train carry more guests.

What is your "home park" abroad?

Great thread, I don’t really have anything to add - as I’m not a seasoned destination goon. But it’s a nice insight to see others thoughts on parks you can readily head back to and still get the wow / buzz factor.

"Pigs Might Fly" - Paultons Park, 21st May 2022

As a above, I’ve never been - so a clean-sweep through would be nice, so put me down to come along for some new creds! If anyone requires a lift from the Essex area, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

Europa Park | Voltron | Mack Rides Stryker Coaster | 2024

@oriolat2 - I would have there would be a block zone before the turnatble and the actual turnable would also be a block zone?

Icon Park - Drop Tower Accident 24/03/2022

I didn’t think it would be long before we saw currently installed attractions retrofitted - in fact, I would be shocked if these were not added, as they have no choice but to be proactive.

    WTF Merlin?

@Sandman - this is the main reason I’ve been avoiding going recently, but I’ve told myself I need to make a conservative this year to tick a few things off and then I don’t need to worry till nemesis is sorted / something new and noteworthy needs my attention. @Nicky Borrill - I’m aiming for...

Popular food & drink trends you don’t get?

Condiments:- Now this for me is love / hate - if I love it, I really love it and if I hate it, I really hate it. Anything tomato or mustard based is a real winner Anything mayonnaise based is a real no no In the dessert department, if it’s a choice between custard or ice-cream; I’m normally a...
