Good riddance in my opinion - it was a totally deplorable addition and has stuck out like a sore thumb since the day it opened.
Even if they turn it back into Amity Cove I would be happy!
it's really unfortunate that a park has put so much faith into one supplier to create their two arguably 'signature' attractions - for them now to have gone out of business. Must be very frustrating as they aren't simple roller coasters either.
They seem to love doing these big D23 events, shouting about all these amazing ideas coming, but a lot of them are either just literally that - ideas, or are many years from fruition. It's a bit like, look what we're opening - in 2029!
They seem to have a habit of announcing things for the...
They've only recently appointed a marketing agency to handle the marketing for Exodus, so it is likely this has been put together by the in-house team awaiting the proper professional stuff from the agency.
Or this is the stuff from the creative agency and it's going to be **** 🤣...
I don't want to sound rude, but it's incredibly veiny *insert pun of choice here*.
I think it may have been more effective if the veins weren't such a bright colour, and weren't on every surface!
You've got to feel sorry for Genting Skyworlds. Arguably two of their most unique and exciting attractions (one of which looks practically finished) are now going to either sit and gather dust or have to be taken out.
Part of me wonders if Dynamic Attractions will start another company as...
I'm sure they will be marketing this hard. It's their first major investment since DBGT in 2016, so they need to make this a success.
I think it's do or die - if they can't get visitor numbers up with a major new attraction, then they are in serious trouble!
I think it will be a great fit for Drayton and their new target audience. If it's well-themed with some good interactions with the terrain that can always make it feel faster too.
However, I do think Shockwave can't have much life left in it, so would this be a worthy replacement? I'm not sure...
Personally I think it looks great for Chessington. Shame there aren't more than 4 slides but overall it looks awesome.
It's a genius move really, as it would make Chessington a year-round destination, as well as increase the chances of people staying overnight in their hotels.
Nice to see some good-quality theming, but I can't see any rides in place yet.
If they're aiming for a 2024 opening, surely this should have started by now?
I suppose the main cost for these huge roller coasters is materials, so I assume a smaller coaster will use less material - especially if it's a family one not going 100's of feet in the air.
Maybe they've realised that they can make a healthy profit on a family coaster so have thrown their...
Not long to go now!
In other news, from 10.07 to 11.09, people staying at:
Hotel Gold River
Hotel Colorado Creek
Mansion De Lucy
Will be able to ride Uncharted from 8am to 10am before the park opens.
I'm booked for a night in Mansion Lucy in August and this has definitely made my day, as I...
You do have to wonder why they are bothering with retracking at all?
The ride is nowhere near as highly regarded as Nemesis or Vampire (rumoured to be getting a full retrack like Nemesis in 2024), and although I am sure people enjoy it, it's certainly not up there in people's top 10s (unless...
