That’s a rather pointless comparison don’t you think?

For me it’s Wildfire. The sheer scale of that ride alongside the beautiful natural setting is just astonishing to me. It’s currently my number one coaster.

Are we sure this is Vekoma? Tripsdrill prides themselves on buying exclusively German rides, I find it odd they’d change suit now.

Vekoma didn’t do the rise system for Wildfire either...? I really don’t get where that’s come from. Vekoma literally only supported with the steel framework on Wildfire’s lifthill and first drop...? That’s it.

I think in this instance it might be a TÜV thing. Hansa are notorious for being well up on their safety codes etc. So it could be that the other style doesn’t tick all the boxes?

I think what we need to remember when it comes to Thorpe Park is just how much change happens in terms of management and direction. The park has gone through an array of park directors, new managers, new marketing etc and up until a couple of years ago didn’t have a dedicated park creative...

^^ Can I just point out that Chessington is excluded from the investment cycle program and operates completely differently. Also, Gruffalo wasn’t a large investment, costing only £2m.
