    Europa Park | Eatrenalin | Mack Rides Trackless Gastro-Experience | 2022

Yeah, it's kind of odd that they went with a Japanese inspired menu, considering that the rest of the resort mostly sticks with European themes. I'm guessing those sorts of dishes have been tested in similar (not ride based, but still) experiences in the East? Hopefully they can approach with a...

    Seven-Country, Eight-Week Euro Jam (July, August '22)

Perhaps there was something going on with the second train that derailed earlier in the year and was sent back to Mack for repairs? When we went, they were only running the other train and none of us found it rough at all. Or it could be a heat thing and it just doesn't deal as well with the few...

    Plopsaland promotional emails

Yeah, we bought them online. I was just trying to say that the discount didn't seem to be connected to any sort of physical card you would have to show or something. Otherwise, I did find tripper.nl to be a reliable site to get cheap tickets for the parks in the region as well. We bought our...

    Plopsaland promotional emails

I didn't get any e-mails of the sort, but looking at their ticket shop, the discount code 'SUPERDEAL' that we used for our visit in April still seems to be working. Not exactly sure where the code is from (I found it on some random site), but nobody really asked any questions connected to the...

    Most surprising coaster addition ever?

Yeah, should've added that I left after getting all of those 7 creds. And I feel half of my time there was spent waiting for the SuperSplash to open three hours after the rest of the park did (just Plopsa things, I experienced a similar thing a few days later in Coo).

    Most surprising coaster addition ever?

Yep. I remember being somewhat disappointed by the park on my first visit in 2016. I went in knowing that they had a launched Gerstlauer coaster and six other creds to tick off, which sounded pretty promising, only to discover that Anubis was the only even somewhat thrilling ride in the park. I...

Suzhou Amusement Park To Close And Relocate

Looks like they're waiting for the birds to make an aviary on their own.

Your most ridden manufacturers & models

Alright, more lists. Most ridden manufacturers: 1. Vekoma (58, 17,8%) 2. Mack Rides (30, 9,2%) =3. Bolliger & Mabillard (23, 7,1%) =3. Intamin AG (23, 7,1%) 5. Maurer Rides (19, 5,8%) Most ridden models (had to count these manually, as I don't have them counted in my spreadsheet): 1. Vekoma...

    Top 10(ish): 2024 Edition - page 124

Damn, @HeartlineCoaster, my top 5 are the only coasters I have ridden out of your top 30. Makes me excited to get myself on some of the other coasters in that list. You seem to have good taste. 😁

    Seven-Country, Eight-Week Euro Jam (July, August '22)

Oh, Tibidabo is great fun! A bit on the expensive side for what it offers, but it's well worth it for the views and uniqueness of their attractions. Did you do Hotel Krueger as well? I feel that was one of the highlights of the park.

    Rank Your Worst-Run Parks

Seconded. At the time of my visit they were also enforcing mandatory paid lockers for 'loose objects' on Superman (which included whatever you had in a zipped pockets). Funny thing is that they still made you exit through the gift shop even when you weren't even allowed to bring a credit card or...

    Seven-Country, Eight-Week Euro Jam (July, August '22)

@redheadedRobin, I totally understand what you're saying, but my question wasn't really geared as to why people from Spain (or other non-enthusiasts from elsewhere) like the park. I get that, it's a well established place and when they get there, they just take it as a fact that theme parks are...

    Seven-Country, Eight-Week Euro Jam (July, August '22)

I agree about the operations. In PA you basically have to pay double to get anything out of your day and while it likely wasn't as bad for me visiting in late April (6 years ago), it was still a miserable experience. Hopefully you can still have an enjoyable rest of the stay there. For people...

    Seven-Country, Eight-Week Euro Jam (July, August '22)

Good to hear Katun still delivers! That first drop was probably the first time I really noticed airtime on a coaster as a kid, just a brilliant start to the ride.

How often is Desmo Race open?

Yeah, it's down a lot and is currently even listed on their website as being unavailable. Looking through coaster-count, it doesn't appear that anyone has ridden it over the past 3 weeks (@Rollercoaster David's group was the last one), while the other rides in the park have had a steady stream...

    Seven-Country, Eight-Week Euro Jam (July, August '22)

Hah, when I first noticed coaster count added that to the database, I was very much surprised as well. I think I now use it as a prime reason why people shouldn't count the 'undefined' category (or at least not everything in it) that's on there. I only took photos of you riding it and I'm not...

    Cred run mini-reports (general topic)

Alright, lets make another brief one again. This weekend we went to spend a couple of days in our seaside apartment in Piran (see my profile pic ;) ) with my dad. A new heatwave is looming large, so we only went out to the beach and to make a 5km walk in the evening to Portorož where Lunapark...

    Missing Prater cred?

Race is a kiddie cred, but the trains are made for adults to ride in as well. You'd be lucky to fit your legs in AutoBergbahn's cars. Though I've seen videos of adults riding it, so I'll just wish you best of luck on your conquest. 😂

    A coaster from 0 to 10

I don't usually rate coasters, but Captain Coaster makes you do that in order to count them, so I'll just go off what I think would be the most interesting picks in those tiers. 10 - Wild Mouse, Luna Park Sydney 9 - Gravity Max 8 - Pendolo, Ai Pioppi 7 - Magic Mountain, Jesolandia 6 - Astro...
