Highest ride count you've ever attained during a theme park day?

Thorpe park October 2021. 36 rides. I think I did 8 on The Swarm and 7 on Stealth (some of which without getting off) one of the best days I have had in a UK park for sure.

    Rank your Ridden B&M Inverts

1: Nemesis Still reigns King. Fast paced and the perfect amount of intensity. 2: Black Mamba Very close to Nemesis. Basically the German nephew, amazing theming and great use of the Invert model with it's trenches and all. 3: Montu A little overrated in my opinion, but it's definitely one of...

Scooping up some Scandi - Part 4: Furuvik

Great TR 👍 I have just come back from the same trip (Grona Lund + Kolmården) for the first time. It's a shame Twister was closed, but the park has so many great attractions, especially the tower rides that I didn't really mind. Insane however was a one and done for me.

    Last Cred Review

Just been to Stockholm, some thoughts on the local coasters #216 Vilda Musen Was thoroughly impressed with this one. Probably the best wild mouse I have done. Great coaster for what it was. Surprising airtime and strong laterals. #219 Monster Somehow Grona Lund fit in a B&M invert and it's a...

    Rank the GCIs

1: Wodan My favourite by some margin. Relentless experience from start to finish. 2: Joris en de Draak Feels like what you would expect from a typical GCI, great pacing, quick airtime pops and the right amount of intensity for families and thrillseakers. 3: Troy A bit disappointing honestly...

Which UK coaster lineup is your favourite?

1: Alton Towers While there are other coasters from other parks I rate slightly higher than Nemesis, Alton Towers has the best overall line up and is the only major UK park I can think of that doesn't have a "bad" coaster. It's a solid and varied line up, with Nemesis, The Smiler and Wickerman...

    Whats your favorite Intamin

My top 5 would be: 1: Hyperion (Energylandia) (#1) Incredibly powerful. I must of rode this in the best conditions because I seem to rate it higher than everybody else. The most substantial airtime I have felt and it has an awesome sense of speed. 2: Toutatis (Parc Astérix) (#5) I had high...

    JoshC.'s Mini Trips - In a Sommerland Far-up Away...

Great TR! I'd like to get out to the Danish parks one day. The Sommerland parks looks incredibly well kept and seem to hit that "family park" market perfect.

    Opinions on energylandia

The queue jumping is also my main gripe with Energylandia and there is nothing you can do about it with how wide the queue lines are. The only thing that made it slightly more tolerable than a park like Port Aventura was the good operations. The locker situation could be better, I had zipper...

    Best Coaster in Europe

    1. Hyperion 2: Helix 3. Zadra 4. Untamed 5. Toutatis 6. Schwur des Kärnan 7. Kondaa 8. Shambhala 9. Taron 10. Ride to Happiness So basically my general top 10, all brilliant coasters in their own right. The one I haven't been on that takes my most interest is Wildfire.

When did your coaster count overtake your age?

I was 4. My first coaster was Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse coaster when I was 3 back in 99' I then rode Barnstormer at Magic Kingdom a few days later. The next year I went to Gullivers World Warrington and rode Anthlope, Runaway Train and I think Wild Mine Ride.

What is your attitude to revisiting parks you've been to before?

Generally speaking it's also newer parks for me that take priority. Considering there is still so many places I haven't been, although I like to get at least one annual visit to Alton Towers and Blackpool. A big exception to the rule is Europa Park which I'll be visiting for the second time in...

    OzIris Restraints

From memory they seem about the same as Inferno's, I think the 90s B&M's are slightly less restrictive, not sure if they have big boy seats though.

    Hershey Park | Wildcat's Revenge | RMC Wildcat | 2023

Wow that thing is hauling! Looks like it's one of the best paced RMC's out there, not that I think many of them have bad pacing.

The best part of each coaster in your top 10

1: Hyperion - First Drop and 1st Airtime Hill 2: Helix - Airtime Hill after 2nd Launch 3: Zadra - Zero G Stall 4: Untamed - Return run 5: Toutatis - Swing Launch (Backwards bit) 6: Kärnan - The drop 7: Kondaa - outerbank Hill or mini bunny hills 8: Shambhala - First Drop and 1st Airtime...

What are your thoughts on swing launches on roller coasters?

I have only experienced two swing launch coasters being Toutatis and Pulsar. Both of which look like better iterations as they both have airtime, with Toutatis' being particularly strong. I think swing launches are great for now, but I wouldn't want to see it become a pattern on every launch...

    Liseberg May 2023

This month has presented quite the opportunity for travel with 3 bank holiday weekends. Thanks to the Royal Coronation of King Charles III, I could have 5 days off work for the price of 2, plus my mum and stepdad had invited me to go on holiday with them and while I would usually reject such an...
