I spent a lot of time at Stealth past season and more often than not the OPs were hitting sub-60 second dispatch times. Saw's operations this year have also been pretty stellar. Obviously Stealth has a separate offload platform which significantly helps. However, Hyperia will have a simpler &...
1) Mandrill Mayhem, Chessington World of Adventures
I actually really enjoyed this ride, after my first couple rides I briefly ranked it higher than The Swarm however I suspect that was just the honeymoon phase of "Ooo, new shiny B&M". That aside, it's a pretty funky ride experience. Some of my...
I put B. I'll go on any coaster at least once. That might be because I haven't ridden any that I truly dislike. I won't go an obscene distance purely for a +1. This thread seems pretty fitting given that I'm just on my way home from getting a wacky worm cred. But it's on route when I go to...
I think it has to be. I'll be verrrry surprised if it isn't the UK's best. It'll definitely be intense and some it's elements look to be one of a kind.
(Edit: After reading some other replies I feel like I should clarify that my statement is based purely on my personal tastes. I like airtime...
That's very smart on Zamperla's part actually. And I don't think comfort will be something to worry about, many people have said the seats are very comfortable.
As a few others have already said it's quite an inconvenient place to get to. However if given the chance I would probably say yes. FF just looks so weird and unlike anything else out there. The rest of the park also looks like it'll have a pretty good supporting line-up. If it was convenient...
Don't worry, it's only getting half repainted for next year so it'll look pretty weird for a bit. You'll just have to make twice as much fun of it until it's complete in 2025! 🤣
Shockwave - Drayton Manor
Managed to finally get myself to Drayton Manor and ride Shockwave! The added incentive of not being able to after the 5th of November definitely helped!
Comfort:
I thought this coaster was a relatively comfortable experience, very little headbanging and no pain of...
Regardless of who's making the train, Theme Park Worldwide have confirmed that it'll feature lapbar restraints in their "The Last Stand" vlog. Not sure how they know this but given that Shawn was chatting with Victoria Lynn a while back and DM have just given him a load of Shockwave signage, the...
I'd probably stick a vote in for Colossus.
I think it's roughness is often exaggerated and I would argue that it's been running quite smooth this past season. (I'd go as far as saying that Rita is rougher.)
While the restraints aren't the greatest and the legroom is an issue, I don't think...

I'd have to say Hyperia. Some of the elements look absolutely mental (especially the crazy outerbank turn/heartlined dive?) and it will definitely be a one-of-a-kind coaster.
Literally the entirety of the guests who attend Drayton Manor. When I visited recently none of them seemed to understand the concept of pulling down their own restraint.
I would assume that they'd start on the pair of airtime hills at the end given that they're working downwards from that end of the site but we'll have to wait and see.
Thorpe's confirmed that this was intentional.
Not sure why they'd choose to do this. It looks a bit odd (especially given that there's no fade) in my opinion.
