Isn't airtime caused by the inertia force caused by the change from up to down?, so if two people on the same train at the same speed with the same change in direction had the same force acted on them the heavier would be moved less as the force would require more energy to move them

Alton Towers | Wicker Man | GCI Wood

Have you ever heard of opinions? In My opinion Oblivion and Nemesis are both classics but are getting on, Rita is one dimensional, thirteen has a good gimmick but that is it, smiler is a bit meh and galacticca just isn't fun Wicker man feels fast ,is smooth, felt forceful when I rode it and...

    Kennywood | Steel Curtain | S&S Multi-looper

That looks really cool, but I just think it will be very uncomfortable like steeple chase at blackpool

    New rides @ small parks

went on it on a friday night, as they do £1 token nights ( even though anything decent you have to buy 2 tokens), was smooth for the type of ride it is and went down quite well with being quite a fun ride with the carnival type feel in the dark Crash Test :)

What the heck happened to the UK coaster scene?

yeah I suppose from the midlands its a totally different ball game, when visiting flamingo ( haven't been to lightwater since my legs got to long the ultimate became hightly painful) it is usually full of people from North Yorkshire upwards. Don't know if Im just being naive but I would think...

    Is Social Media changing enthusiasts?

Social media is just awful for society as others have said and imply it just magnifies some of the worst characteristics and leads to behaviours we wouldn't undertake in normal life but I do have to say I really love a good list video on youtube:oops: ( saying that there are some awful ones...

    Your Least Common Opinion?

How many times have you ridden it? as I used to love it but as I've went back over the years it just hasn't held up I found raptor rattled quite a bit whereas Banshee was really smooth, but generally all B&M inverts are good And for a least common opinion Wickerman is the best coaster in the UK

What the heck happened to the UK coaster scene?

Fantasy Island is in skegness, the other 2 are in North Yorkshire, there is a canny hike between them. the 2 North Yorkshire parks have always had the advantage of all the people from the northeast having to come down there if they want to go to a park as there is nothing further north. Some...

What makes a favorite coaster for you?

Great choice of topic I think that a little while back it would have been easy, a big drop, high speed and some good air time but over the last year or so having ridden a couple of GCI's I would have to say the quick transitions in those rides and the smoothness makes them outstanding. If I had...

You Must be a large gent as I'm near 300pound and 6'6 and I bounced up and down like mad on diamondback Diamondback was class, didn't notice a rattle at all, first drop was intense, scenery was good, airtime was prevalent and the splash down put it down nicely.

    Hersheypark | Chocolatetown | 2019/2020 Park Expansion

RMC Comet?;) If they have all that new space think they need a crowning jewel for the new area. Wonder if they may put it as a new 'land' like some parks do with a big new coaster as the centre piece. Some great ideas already mentioned in this thread and I think nearly any of them would be a...
