The only negativity I have seen online in regards to this ride are people who dont like the Pittsburgh Steelers and dont think the ride/area should be named as such.
Its a park, right outside of Pittsburgh, who are very much into their football team. The name is just hilarious to me, but I...
Ive done 3.
The first one was the LARGEST disappointment because we were originally supposed to do a DC Trip back when I was in 7th or 8th grade, which would have included an entire day at Busch Gardens Williamsburg (back when BBW was still there and I believe was the last operating year for...
Isnt Sea World already phasing out Orcas with the no longer breeding of them? Pretty sure I read that somewhere.
As for the whole "If they dump the animals then it wont be Sea World" - they can still house animals that they are rehabilitating and use that as the educational forefront as to why...
Does that dive coaster go from a stylized thick mack/premier track to the double spine style of intamin?
Or am I just hallucinating?

Low to the ground turns, no real height and with inversions. While it wont be as intense as Maverick, I can still see it being referred to as such by enthusiasts if it is really good. Besides, when was the last time we have seen a good multi-launcher stateside within the Cedar Fair family...
So a bit of a correction on my part - While Hersheypark has a height restriction due to Township, they can appeal to go beyond the 200ft height (as I believe they did with Skyrush as isnt it techincally 218ft or something?). So while this means they could potentially build a giga, Derry...
Back when Skyrush was not yet fully announced as the Intamin airtime monster it is today, Hershey openly talked about some of the competitors that had placed bids. Mack had proposed a spinner that would have actually had an inversion and was located up near the Kissing Tower (with rumors of it...
The plans are shown with the, what i believe to be, employee parking lot (or possible overflow) for Chocolate World.
I do believe that qrea IS under a height restriction as well, so no giga possibilities (iirc, kissing towers hill is the tallest point they could have built at the park....but i...
God I love Kennywoods Marketing department even more now. Such trolls.
I love how they stated that doing the word search daily allows you to gain one entry (per day) into being possibly picked as one of the first 12 riders for the new attraction next year! So long as the 9 words you find are...
Well KBF is back down to one with the 2nd train sitting in plain site completely dismantled.
And thats bad for SFMM. Why do they do that there!? Especially at a park that gets a heaving as they do!?
Wont lie, was surprised to see TC with 3 trains going.

Speaking of Full Throttle - when did it permanently go to 1 train? Cause unless its storage bay is below the station (which it very well could be but i saw no elevator type structure for it on the transfer area), the ride is permanently at 1 train ops now.
Unrelated to SFMM, but somewhat...
RIP on completely forgetting about Hulk, the Intamin Impulses and the old Schwarzkopfs.
I knew I was forgetting some of them, but for the life of me I couldnt remember which ones. What makes it worse is I remembered Thunderbird immediately, but Hulk completely skipped my mind since it is so...
I dont think this is going to have any launches. Partly because Sky Rocket is a thing inside the park (yes, I know multiple parks have more than a single launcher), but mainly because outside of the Spaghetti Bowls, the S&S ones (none outside of China I believe) and Rock n Rollercoaster - no...
And to toss an even larger wrench into the whole "Soaring" clone, photos have surfaced of previous markers now being painted over with phrases such as "Wrong", "???" and "Not Sure" wrote on them throughout the park.

While Kennywood is kind of locked in, they do own a nice chunk of land that could support a ride of that size, but as they are built on the side of a mountain (hello all the rides that use said trenches), it more than likely wouldnt be cost effective to get stupidly larger supports on one side...
