^ All the videos I've seen of this feature have it sound like it would be EXTREMELY LOUD in person, high pitched too. Like does this not break your ears when you're actually there? I've been around much smaller tesla coils on ghost trains and such and even those have been unbearably loud, but...
Well now we know (timestamped video). I don't know if Serengeti-Park needs the extra capacity but turns out that part where the train is high off the ground is so that the gondolas can rotate there as well, and they slide to a taller loading floor.
That looks really fun actually and could provide a sensation center of gravity wise only really achievable on Maurer spike coaster rn, except you know, not a weird powered coaster.
Gotta say can't help but feel like the coaster community as a whole was so brutal (all their comments sections are absolute poison for the past couple weeks) towards ElToroRyan, Coaster Studios and everyone else who came out so sure that it'd close forever on Sunday just because they didn't like...
Same enthusiast circles who said that Kingda Ka would close without announcement (permanently, in this form at least) said last public train was on Sunday, so at this point we can probably believe them on that. Last I saw one train was near fully dismantled, one was temperamental and only one...
So if it gets a TT2-esque treatment and doesn't get fully demolished does that not still mean that in essence Ka as it stands is going away in any case? I imagine people would've been doing these goodbye rounds to TTD too if it hadn't been SBNO for like a year before they announced they'd be...
^ Does anybody actually like Superman anymore though? It barely goes up the tower at all and the launch isn't enough to be a selling point. They could even keep the drop tower on that unlike Zumanjaro, since Dreamworld did that in Australia.
^^ One of the trains was completely dismantled a...
^ They probably spent ungodly amounts (at least relative to their revenue) of money on developing the coaster type hence why they're constantly trying to come up with new gimmicks and ways to sell it to parks. But hey, at least the cruise ships are buying em. And Qiddiya.
I loved Bob when that was at Efteling but I understand these are a pain to maintain, I'll just miss this ride style as I despise the Mack bobsleds. Maybe Flying Turns is the shining ray of light in that style of ride if I ever get to ride that.
^ Jesus christ, that is deranged to say the least. If you really have to terrorize somebody to take out your anger why the innocent public and not the company?
^ I guess I missed that part but now I'm even more confused because what do you mean "easy to pronounce" what has to be your mother tongue for you to possibly gather that "yoy" is pronounced as the english word "joy"? I mean. Sure.
So, how do you pronounce YoY anyway? I know some bit about how Dutch is pronounced but can't fathom how this is pronounced besides maybe "ei o ei" if it's letter by letter.
First year with a season pass final report; Season pass cost me 299€, I went 45 times which means I got a 2295€ worth out of it. Deal of the century, honestly.
Not watching through the whole thing but judging by the start and one of the top replies to the pinned comment it seems like it's basically because they can't get spares for the drive tires (so they're just way too worn to be useful unless conditions are perfect) from PAX be it because they...
