It's still on the park map. The propaganda place, as well.
Looks like they just quickly removed it from the details page. But it's a good first step and I guess everything else will follow.
Propaganda place is now blue fire Dome on the details page ;)
Meanwhile other parks are still building blue fire clones... so it can't be the worst design. And when it was built at Europa-Park it was pretty unique. But I guess the initial thought was that blue fire at Europa-Park is a misfit for the park as it's now cloned so many times and Mack Rides made...
This is really stupid. You can't separate business and politics. With any company. Especially not with a company that has a really tight connection to a state. The connection always was there. They just closed both eyes and didn't want to see it. And they didn't want to listen to many people...
It looks like parts that needed to be refurbished are already painted in blue. The other parts will most likely be painted on site. That's should not be a problem.
Somewhat exactly my thought. Though in my imagination I added in some flexibility like with the glass that turns from transparent to milky when a current is applied. And I don't know how far technology is but it'd be really cool to have the option to run it visible and like an outdoor coaster if...
I don't think they'll build a new Fantissima theatre inside the park. Fantissima is not really connected to the park and doesn't even have the same target audience as far as I'm concerned. I thought the plan was to build a new theatre on the new area that they might possibly someday be able to...
@Nitefly I feel like they got a lot more playable after DKC1.
I love the setting. It should be a really cool jungle and temple mix. I wonder if they manage to mix in / hide a construction site as this might be one of the most iconic video game screens ever. Even though that's just Donkey Kong...
Pretty sure they did. But there are different levels of exclusivity. They obviously didn't go for the lifetime world-wide exclusive rights - or at least they're getting some money out of this clone, as well!
I doubt that. I think it'd be a lot easier as you'd have an easy construction site. F.L.Y.'s difficulty will be hard to match for any other project. It had a lot of problems before it even got started: The ground at Phantasialand is horrible as it was a brown coal mining site a century ago...
The way they set it up it moves you around half of the park. I'd assume you could setup the queue somewhere else but with the given layout it's basically the only way to get you from the queue to the maze.
If I remember it correctly from Welp it should be somewhat like this. Red is the queue...
I don't know if it really has to be popular. With only two seats on only one of two trains it'd have to be really unpopular to not even use up this abysmal capacity.
That's true. It doesn't look but... But it doesn't look like the track will get a huge chunk of theming either. And that's too bad. I think especially mine train coasters really need a nice theming with a lot of near misses...
I feel like this is just a modern boomerang. It just replaces a backwards lift and station passthrough with a forwards lift and a turntable and thus can run multiple trains. Mystic on the other hand only does a part of the layout backwards.
Yeah, I agree with that. It's crazy that they manage to sell these things to cruise ships whereas the parks don't even manage to keep them open in a normal situation. Maurer Rides has to have a really good sales department.
