Dreamworld | Jungle Rush | Vekoma Switchback Coaster | 2024

Plenty of work going on and track work going in quickly. https://www.parkz.com.au/forums/topic/14836-jungle-rush-coaster/?page=22 Looks like a really decent little ride. Can't wait to see how the Mexico one compares.

Arabian Nights: Exploring the Coasters of Saudi Arabia (Part 10)

Because they're obviously not... Oh never mind we've had this discussion a million times.. I'll save the millionth and first for the next coaster trip 😂 Decent collection though. So I dare ask how many butterflies?

Arabian Nights: Exploring the Coasters of Saudi Arabia (Part 10)

Good read as always. Out of interest what would the increase in your count be if you were sensible and counted powered coasters? 😜 I'll have a proper look for some missed FECs when I finally have a full day off.

Oasis at Lakeport | Osage Beach, Missouri, USA | Theme Park

Both bog standard Vekoma junior layouts. Rebound model Junior Boomerang and orkanen layout SFC. So nothing like the intertwined STC/Boomerang models We've seen. As for when it changed. Was since this post in the 23rd I guess...

Seoul Unveils Insane New Ferris Wheel Design

The excellent B1M just did a video on the history behind this wheel design including some interesting tidbits on why spokeless wheels are so hard to build.

A New Chapter in China #3 - Summary

Great report as always. Love your dedication. I believe the reason for the different name is because just 30 or so mins south Anyang has an Oriental Heritage park which never opened. (Just think of all those unridden dark rides) Guess it avoids some confusion Never really understood why they...

A New Chapter in China #3 - Summary

Great report from some less visited parks. Shame about the invert. It was their first ever new style invert. Seems the new ones are much better at least. Small steps. I'm fairly sure that Volare has never opened. Been there for years and never seen anything to suggest it worked. If anyone is...

US Thrill Rides Polercoaster opening near Atlanta & in Florida (now Las Vegas)

Oh is it April 1st already? Comes round so fast these days doesn't it. Whoever produced that graphic really needs to work on their comprehension of perspective.

Indiana Beach I All American Triple Loop | Quimera (Dreier Looper) relocation | 2024

From what I've read all the others (with the exception of Alpinia Bahn) have been fitted with a new anti rollbacks because of this possibility. Seems insane Indiana beach haven't opted for the same retrofit.

Indiana Beach I All American Triple Loop | Quimera (Dreier Looper) relocation | 2024

How is that even possible in this day and age? Doesn't the ride have anti rollbacks on the lift? Madness

Thorpe Park | Hyperia | Mack Hyper Coaster | 2024

That's very much an us thing to do I feel. My niece did a school trip to Parc Asterix last year. She had no idea what was there before going. I've also been to Paultons with my extended family twice and no one apart from me knew what to expect that first time and none of them knew that there...

As I suspected. False alarm people. Nothing to see here.

Genting SkyWorlds | Malaysia | Theme Park

I believe it was originally due to be a Mack inverted power coaster that got canned late on. But it is a big empty building now so you could fit pretty much anything in it.

Genting SkyWorlds | Malaysia | Theme Park

It's been reported that new track has appeared on site at Genting. You have to look closely but if it is a coaster it appears to be some kind of single rail There doesn't appear to be a second rail. Personally I suspect this isn't a coaster at all. All the pieces seem to be shaped almost...

New development on the Slammer site at Thorpe Park?

With a name like Skybound I'm fully prepared for an unthemed Fabbri Booster to show up. Although it is Merlin so are we sure it's not sponsored by Sky and is actually just called Bound.

New Rides Planned for Freizeitpark Plohn (Mack PowerSplash(?) / ART Wild Swing / Unknown Drop Tower)

Almost certainly that's what happened. It was an idea pitched for plohn that they didn't go for so there would be no issues shopping the idea around.

I mean also you'd expect them to trademark the name in the UK not the USA really.
