On my visits, when Talocan actually had it's fire going, it always had a longer queue than Taron... Obviously much of that is down to throughput, but if a Top Spin queue is going to hold 45+ mins worth of people, plus lots of spectators, then it's doing a fantastic job compared to many other...

It may not be the same video... But same story, his later rides on opening day were clearly much much better, and he says so in his full opening day vlog. So after them, he was really excited for the night ride on day 2. There were a few UK goons that gathered and stuck together for that night...

Sorry for the late reply, but I just wanted to ask, have you seen TPW's day one vlog? We were on that train for the night ride at the end, that is the bad ride that I referenced earlier in this thread. You can see just watching that vlog how bad the rattle is... Shawn isn't using some potato...

I visited yesterday, shockingly for the first time ever. It really surprised me to see how short the queues for the thrill coasters were compared to Tiki Waka... Only coaster we waited a significant amount of time for was Tiki Waka (it was worth it!) So I think another family cred is exactly...

Yes, it was always confirmed it would be a top spin, and it was always confirmed it would be the floorless model... Anybody who saw that all of the dimensions matched up to the decimal place, and still had ideas or hopes of it being something else is living in cloud cuckoo land. (Pun intended.)...

Shawn’s in a tricky position really. He loves the park and he generally seems to like the ride, when he gets a good train / seat. However he has a lot of responsibility, and absolutely has to rate the ride how he finds it at the time. If he tells half a million viewers that the ride is great...

They’ve only had one train on for most of my visits, I always pick quiet mid week days. I don’t like talking about roughness and rattle too much on coasters like RTH as it really doesn’t affect the ride in my opinion… But on the other hand, you can’t deny that it’s there. BTW, I got a rough...

Having ridden both on this trip I’d say ‘similar.’ Both absolutely have a noticeable rattle. Especially in certain seats / trains. But as is often the case, that is being blown out of proportion. But like with RTH, the ride is so good that if it in any way ‘ruins’ your enjoyment of the coaster...

Not ridden Velocicoaster, Hagrids or the other new intamins then? They are glass smooth. I agree with you though, they don’t ‘need’ to be glass smooth. And wing coasters will always be more rattly on the outer seats by their very nature. Any slight vibrations will be magnified in those seats...

The rope drop, in it’s normal form, absolutely cannot happen! A walking wall of security maybe, but even that would be a risky thing. Much better to abandon the normal rope drop altogether imo. It seems casual coaster enthusiasm is very ‘main stream’ at the moment, coaster opening days right...

I just wanted to say, after yesterday morning’s fiasco, Yay merlin for their handling of Nemesis opening day. Opening the park and ride early, and not doing some silly, dangerous, rope drop, created a much safer experience for all. And having staff along that entire route from the entrance to FV...
