I always love it when parks update and theme older rides, it makes such a difference to the park and so much nicer than just leaving it sticking out like a sore thumb.
That queue line does look incredibly short! It
Will be interesting to see how this ride effects the parks attendance.
Seeing it from that Ariel view has got me really excited, I didn’t realise how many elements this ride really has!
The original art concept looked nothing like Magma.... The original concept looked exactly like the drop towers at Phantasialand and multiple other parks.
When I first saw the article headline on Facebook I thought, oh god, this ride is cursed! I thought the restraints had failed.
Upon actually reading the article though, I realised it was a non-issue caused by the weird dummies having a leak... [emoji23]
Really looking forward to this, despite being a member for 8 years now, this will be my CF live.
I did attend the PBE and CF event last year but wouldn’t really class that as a live.
Be nice to finally put some faces to names!
I didn’t realise how incredibly short this ride is.
It still looks like an excellent family coaster though and great addition. The return leg definitely looks like the highlight of the coaster!
If you look on Instagram, there’s quite a few photos of the Surf Rider... I’m not really bothered about this project so I’m not going to go out my way to find them, but I have seen multiple pictures of it now.
Your right, it isn’t free for MAP holders, he’s talking about the Premium Alton Towers pass.
The park have confirmed that the exterior isn’t finished and that the rest of the building will be covered so nothing from Charlie is on show. I’m guessing they will just cover the rest of the building...
This photograph posted on Instagram by @photobygoranr shows that two cranes are now on site.
I’m still amazed at how the park is fitting this in without removing any existing attractions!
10 minute pre-show?
No thank you.
I’ve got to be honest, nothing what PortAventura is doing at the moment is drawing me back. Ferrari Land being a separate park, extremely poor operations, increasing prices and stagnation of the main park are all big factors as to why I’ve decided to not...
One of the main reasons they chose the Mack layout over the other two companies was because of the high-5 element over The Big Dipper.
I’d arguably say that’s one of the dullest moments of the layout almost all the time, but when timed perfectly it does provide a brilliant interactive element...
Great report!
I’m actually in the picture of Icon coming out the first launch into the airtime hill on the second row with the Icon top on... Pulling that ridiculous face!
Was great to actually get to meet so many members and put faces to user names, considering I’ve only been on here for...
Excellent day yesterday!
Managed 8 rides on Icon and 16 on Avalanche!
Was really nice to put some faces to usernames, considering how long I’ve been on the forums for!
Thank you to Scott and Ian for organising another fantastic event!
