Looks like a yawner to me...probably great for the kids though...
Seriously what's going on with B&M these days? There's been rumblings about Iron Menace being the same way. Neither of these 2 coasters are doing anything groundbreaking, very strange that the POV's for both have been lacking...
Man if I was him I'd postpone putting a PC together to go ride a brand new coaster almost always, especially considering this is the best one around, and ESPECIALLY if it was on my birthday!
Yeah, I really don't understand this decision. Although perhaps it's not another cookie cutter/clone...but the big bulky supports from B&M, a mundane layout...definitely feel like the Vekoma SFC's would be much better at using the available space, and I can speak from experience, those rides are...
Besides Intamin themselves?
Who were no doubt the best option when it came to this revamp.
I feel like this "cutting ties" with a manufacturer is a bit ridiculous, especially considering Intamin has practically perfected over the past 20+ years exactly what Zamperla installed on TT2. Not to...
Hmmm...that pic with the trims is really throwing me off...the design of the supports in everything they've shown us had a fairly minimalistic design...and that looks significantly different from what I thought I've seen before...also, I thought both the entrance and exit out of that hill were...
That fake is HILARIOUS, props to whoever produced it so quickly LOL.
From what I've read and heard, it sounds like this is much more a train issue than a track issue. I would not worry about anything significant happening to the track which would effect the ride experience, including things...
Honestly I'm super stoked for this installment, probably my most anticipated ride of 2024 in the US.
Hopefully Vekoma gets this thing running consistently, I have pretty good confidence that they will, and maybe we'll see some clones at other parks, or some kind of adaptation of this style of...
I walk from the car through the parking lot to the park entrance, around the park all day from ride to ride, and then I stand in line for a period of time to ride a roller coaster.
The last thing I want to do when I get to the ride is to continue standing up, I want to sit down and relax! Even...
Park is 3 Monkeys, I don't recall that being the name...but I just had to look it up lol
Hear no evil, See no evil, Speak no evil.
This ride looks absolutely fantastic...a great pace, plenty of airtime, and the true dueling with on ride interactions and fly by elements really up the ante.
Based of the 2 separate videos posted, it looks like that is definitely going to be the case.
Also unfortunately as people have mentioned...unlike Diamondback where there's a viewing area to actually see the water effects off-ride, it sounds like this is barely going to be visible to anyone.
Yeah, I'd agree with you as far as Screamscape being fairly reliable.
If I had to guess the bogeys and/or wheels got bent and/or cracked. Only thing that makes sense considering ElToroRyan's latest vid on TT2 (nonchalantly highlighting those very parts of the train), and as far as the time line...
And Zamperla, here we go...
Crack in the WHEEL, like the steel frame? Or crack in the polyurethane coating that rides the rails?
Very big difference between the two. If it's the wheel, this could be down for much much longer as they might need to design/manufacture new wheels for all the...
Just read about the 2024 closure...honestly unfortunate, can't understand how a coaster with a relatively basic concept can have such a terrible operating track record.
*Sees coaster was manufactured by S&S to save some $$$*
Well, duhhh, what did you think was going to happen?
Blows my mind...
Hey, thanks for sharing. Really appreciated the in-depth, cut-to-the-chase review.
Not surprised about the roughness of the ride...you can just see it from the off ride videos. Really wish that was something they would have considered in designing the trains...especially considering it's all...
Really? Because from what I remember Cheetah Hunt's only inversion was so quick that it barely felt like an inversion to me at all, but I only rode it once...after a couple beers lol
Hangtime, IMO, is more like where literally the only thing keeping you there is the restraint, like a sustained...
