I think the problem with the queueline is there is too much gold. Black and gold go well together, but the gold needs to be subtle, or at least subtler than the queueline. I don’t think it helps that the floor is also gold looking, a darker texture for the path could have helped.

Intamin have had an atrocious track record when it comes to their water rides, so many of them have had to be removed within a few years, or have a huge amount of downtime, or killed someone.
I can’t see them having any less issues even with Intamin’s own boats, this would all have had to...
Sigh, you’ve really got to hand it to Merlin. On the one hand you have Thirteen, ghost train and Walking dead.. some very mediocre family coasters/VR experience advertised as beyond terrifying experiences… and then on the other they have a coaster that could be genuinely terrifying and they want...
Even with a continuously moving station, Crush’s Coaster has a poor throughput. There is no 4 seater train that can have a good throughput even if you add 20 blocks.
Is that not exactly what the previous social media post is talking about? The posts on Instagram showing the girl.. the creation of the narrative.. it’s all going to be for the advert right?
I visited a few weeks ago, rode Nemesis a bunch of times. I didn’t really notice any big shaking in any of my seats. I rode front row, middle, and a few times near the back. I did notice that the jolt in the final tunnel after the 2nd corkscrew has been smoothed though, that was the only actual...
I think Asterix needs a high quality dark ride or two more than it needs another low throughput family coaster. It already has Pègase Express, SOS Tournevis, Vol D’icare and Trace Du Hourra that all fill that family coaster element.
I do love Chiapas, but honestly the boats filling up with water can sometimes ruin it. The last few times I’ve gone on, I’ve snuck my shoes/socks off into my bag when I got onboard.
What sort of flat rides would people like to see at the Towers?
When I think of a flat ride I really enjoy, I think of Loke at Liseberg.. great fun, lap bars.. but that’d be too tall for the towers. Similar story with a screaming swing (plus their ride times are too short).
Nebulaz are popping...
So back in the days when I first started playing RCT and getting interested in coasters (back in 2001!), the thing that made me want to go to a theme park was when the Submission advert came on TV. I look back now and think that Submission was a horrible and uncomfortable ride, but the advert...
I have always kinda hated hangtime on most rides, Stan Checketts rides are awful (El Locos/sky swats/screaming squirrels would all be better as scrap metal). It’s not as bad on well designed lap bar coasters, or the snug wing coaster restraints, but it’s still not pleasant.
I think when a stall...
I was at the park yesterday too, and Galaticair looks a bit neglected, it had real issues getting the trains into locked position. Feels like such an awkward duck with the “theming” telling you that you were visiting different galaxies or whatever and then just visiting different views of grass...
Pull throughs are generally reserved for rides that have a lot of theming added by a separate company. Hyperia doesn’t have any theming at all (or trees), so there’s only the manufacturers own designs at play here when it comes to reach tests, which can be adequately done on CAD. It’s quite easy...
I will never understand why anyone okayed the location of Tower of Terror, and sadly it’ll always be the thing that hinders any development of the park by being slap bang at the start of the park in such a central location.
The original floridian one was designed as a weinie at the end of a...
Can I just remind everyone that is commenting on certain elements being taken at certain speeds.. chill out my dudes. You’ve seen one test run. Maybe hold off until it’s regularly testing to judge an elements speed.
Beijing doesn’t have uniquely chinese themed areas, I’m not sure why this would have British ones.
The most interesting point is when they said they want to keep this unique from it’s florida counterpart. I can see this meaning we won’t get a Hulk, or a Velocicoaster or a Hagrid's coaster. I...
