New Rides Planned for Freizeitpark Plohn (Mack PowerSplash(?) / ART Wild Swing / Unknown Drop Tower)

The only way I can see CF having that layout is the result of Plohn not buying that layout, Mack thinking 'hey this is still a cool concept, let's shop it', and it going around. Could be LSM launched, but that rendering looks like its got tires on it. Not that it really matters, would be a first...

New Rides Planned for Freizeitpark Plohn (Mack PowerSplash(?) / ART Wild Swing / Unknown Drop Tower)

Sure looks like a match, now it's just whether that specific pitch will get built. Seems expensive for a (presumably tire-driven) launched water coaster, but it is Mack afterall.

Universal's Epic Universe | Orlando USA | Theme Park

This is interesting... Universal has filed a new trademark for the name "Stardust Racers", for use as "an amusement park ride in the nature of a roller coaster ride". Seems like this wouldn't be used in addition to Starfall Racers... so perhaps they ran into an issue & aren't able to use that...

Cedar Point and Kings Island sending surveys for new coasters?

That Spinner is so incredibly wacky. So wacky that it justified a very quick mockup:

    Busch Gardens Tampa | Phoenix Rising | B&M Family Invert | 2024

It's been incredibly unclear if it'll actually 'swing'. The initial press release, as well as the tour lead (?) from yesterday, seemingly mentioned and doubled down that it would swing. But the super-detailed rendering of the train in that recent animation, definitely do NOT show a swinging...

    Busch Gardens Tampa | Phoenix Rising | B&M Family Invert | 2024

Surprisingly they've just released a fantastic looking animation, also showing what appears to be the media that will be played on in-station screens! Also, per an ongoing media hardhat tour, this will feature the new-gen lap bar restraints from Penguin Trek!

Shanghai Disneyland building a “high-speed roller coaster”?

Enjoy a more crude drawing, but with slight corrections: Orange: Dual-load station Red: Show scene/change of direction #1 - backwards launch on exit Blue: Backwards section Purple: Brake run #1 into switch Pink: Show scene/change of direction #2 - forward launch on exit Green: Forward section...

The Arch is almost complete, just a few more beams to go! Also, the inverted top hat of the other Intamin coaster, Spitfire, is going up!

New track at the B&M plant

I know it's briefly been talked about elsewhere on site, but I personally want to revive this thread 🤣 A few different projects are pictured there, so now's as good a time as any! It's already been established that this red track is suspended due to the curves where the crossties meet the...

Thorpe Park | Hyperia | Mack Hyper Coaster | 2024

No there isn't, the picture you posted is just the mounts. There's no trim fin installed on that. Especially with it being the first, slowest-possible test, why would they slow it down and really risk a valleying situation? If that were installed, it genuinely may not have made it through the...

    Kings Dominion | Rapterra | B&M Launched Wing Coaster | 2025

Historically it's not uncommon for Clermont to have track painted & ready a full year in advance, regardless if major groundwork has begun. It could be for KD, but I would lean more towards that being BGW's (alleged Big Bad Wolf tribute) heavily rumored family invert. Colors would match that...

Six Flags America | Steam Town Area | 2024

^From the top of this thread, "SteamWhirler" is the name of the Nebulaz; and the (presumably) media announcement kit says: "Suspended coaster (formerly Mind Eraser) with new trains, enhanced operating system and a completely refreshed look." Seems like they hadn't named it at time of...

    Legoland Windsor Future Developments

Yeah... the landscaping/presentation isn't that great yet, and the general elevation of the whole ride is incredibly odd... but just in terms of the rides themselves, I'm very surprised at how forceful some of the turns on these things look!

Project 305 - Intimidator 305 "Transformation" to Pantherian

Truly can't decipher how much sarcasm is being thrown around in this thread... 'Project 305' is very clearly the placeholder name for this season (or two) until the proper retheme, incorporating it into Jungle Xpedition, occurs. That entrance sign is no indicator of it being the permanent name...

Thorpe Park | Hyperia | Mack Hyper Coaster | 2024

I don't recall Mack Rides doing pull-through tests, that's regularly (but not exclusively) an Intamin thing. I think they'll just take it up the lift slowly and then send it over. Can't wait to see those two words pop up here, once it starts running 🤣

COTALAND | Texas | Gerstlauer Infinity Shuttle (Palindrome) & Vekoma Tilt (Circuit Breaker) & Others

^That's for Palindrome, I have not seen any pictures of Circuit Breaker's construction (or even its confirmed location) as of yet. The renderings show it to be in the red area behind Turn 20, but that seems an odd distance away from Palindrome (blue) and the rest of the rides:

Just the corkscrew remaining: Love the shaping of the turnaround from this angle. Even more impressed at the number of columns holding it up!
