    New attractions at Paultons Park

I would completely agree with this, I think Paultons would smash it if they did a water ride that is well themed. Something like Chiapas would be one of the most popular rides there. I'd say similar if they did the rapids with a splashdown like Infinity Falls. It could be work if it has the...

What have you learned in your years as an enthusiast?

I completely relate to this as an enthusiast. I was one of those who was brave enough to solo travel a couple of theme parks in Europe and I didn't regret this choice one bit. The main challenge is definitely balancing time and money to be able to experience different theme parks in the UK and...

Small News From The Theme Park Industry

This definitely is a really unique coaster layout. I'd love to see it in action (rather fitting for Emerald Park) ☘️🤔

Drayton Manor - Ride For Sale?

I think the only thing pointing to Winston is the pictures. The stats don't really match as Winston opened in 2013. Unlikely to be removed unless it's as part of the wider Pirate Adventure building development.

    New attractions at Paultons Park

I'm pretty sure that any potential New for 2026 rollercoaster would be considered as the park's most popular rollercoaster so they'd likely need something where capacity is similar to Storm Chaser if not higher. I don't think a shuttle coaster with one train is doable even with a turntable...

    Your Schwarzkopf Count

My solitary Schwarzkopf coaster is Olympia/Munich Looping.

Mystery new attraction at Dreamworld Australia

The Claw is an Intamin Gyro Swing which opened in 2004 and is newer than Maelstrom at Drayton Manor. It could work if Claw is unreliable or if it's much larger. I'd be sceptical that they'd replace one ride for something very similar other than an upgrade or to replace something that's...

    New attractions at Paultons Park

I do admit that it is very ambitious however it could very well happen at close to that scale with it being the first major area development in years and a very large possible area, it is a remote possibility. With manufacturers like Zamperla, bulk deals have happened in the past (there was one...

    WTF Merlin?

I'd completely second that, Thorpe Park has substantially overtaken Alton Towers in terms of guest experience. It's operations are decent (with it's main flaw being occasional empty seats on rides), ride availability is much better than Towers, food is not as bad, queues are soooo much more...

    New attractions at Paultons Park

I think that could be a good shout considering the controversy that it's had in that location due to the noise and planning. I'm quite inclined to say that whilst still retaining a balanced line up, there would be more than two thrill rides considering the size of the land especially if this...

    New attractions at Paultons Park

I'd be interested to see if this is a potential removal, relocation or retheme of Edge. I'm leaning towards no on it getting removed as this is a ride model that is still very popular and this would be the first Disko Coaster that has been removed by a park (other than full park closure). If it...

    New attractions at Paultons Park

I believe it's going to be a coaster and a water ride intertwined as Raging River is going.

What have you learned in your years as an enthusiast?

For me, it's enjoying my hobby and getting to know different people in the community (all who enjoy it in different ways - whether that is riding coasters, enjoying parks as a whole, travelling, going to Merlin parks). I personally have expanded my horizons quite a lot by visiting some theme...

    New attractions at Paultons Park

Wow, that is practically the entire left side of the park except for Lost Kingdom from what is being said 😱 That is going to be a huge spot of land with loads of rides or at least one huge one by the looks of it. I'd be really massively overjoyed if we found a large Log Flume and a Rapids...

    Your Mack Count

My current Mack count is 20 and it has grown a lot this year from my recent Europa visit. 1. Scorpion Express - Chessington 2. Flying Fish - Thorpe Park 3. Avalanche - Blackpool Pleasure Beach 4. Icon - Blackpool Pleasure Beach 5. Runaway Mine Train - Alton Towers 6. Storm Chaser - Paultons...

    YAY Merlin!

My issue isn't necessarily groups using it but it is groups insisting on being batched together. I don't mind groups as long as they're happy to be split as the queue time can be longer than the main queue. I'm not sure it's particularly clear on Hyperia as recently, there is confusion with...

    YAY Merlin!

Over the last year, I have found Thorpe Park to have improved substantially. Operations have become a lot better than before although there's still tweaks that need to be made. Queues have been more manageable and I'd say that's credit to the team. Some things still need sorting such as ride...

Where is your local park and how often do you visit?

For me, I am of practically near equal distance to Legoland and Thorpe Park. Although Legoland is closer by a small margin to me, I consider Thorpe Park to be my home park as it is a 40 minute train journey from Reading and the shuttle bus from Staines being more direct. I go to Thorpe Park on...
