Sorry for the triple post, ha, but I feel this deserves a bump. ZZ has opened to passholders today.

There's not much like the excitement you get from visiting a new park and riding its unique coasters for the first time. Between the anticipation and nerves, the high of actually being there and riding is really special to me and I'd presume to other coaster enthusiasts. I still have trouble...

Sorry for the double post. A WoF regular on Facebook noted that a bunch of employees were cheering and taking pics in the ZZ station and eventually rode it within the past hour. My phone is being difficult (maybe me with the handful of beers drank) otherwise I'd add a photo and link.

This is where I'm at. It looks like it has a good variety of perfectly hitting elements with limited repetitiveness. Repetitiveness is the one thing that RMC sometimes can overdo (and yes, I'm being entitled re: RMC criticism).

Not the greatest quality but it is the first POV I've seen and it looks fantastic! It looks like a smaller yet longer feeling Iron Gwazi. I think this will be a top 3 RMC in North America.

Sounds like it isn't anything to do with the ride. Could be BS but heard it is being delayed due to not having the LED lights on the front car.

It was primarily two reasons. Precision was needed on the lift hill to maintain the track gauge to very low tolerances. The second reason was aesthetics for the turn around the lift hill to maintain a similar look to the original ZZ for nostalgia. It wasn't really much to do with wear and tear.

RMC just tweeted this too: Looks like June 2 it is. I really wasn't planning a trip to PA this summer but may have to.

They're doing something to me but it is not good. Would've been better if the entire zero car was a wildcat head kind of like the rattler on Iron Rattler or the alligator on Iron Gwazi. The cat breaking thru the wood just looks cringe.

Yeah between the ground clearance and this tunnel that looks like it is going to have the clearance of Beast's tunnel... Cannot wait to ride though as it looks fantastic. From Facebook

I guess I like Steel Vengeance's lockers. If I'm marathoning, I'd just leave my stuff in the lockers for a two or three laps before checking my stuff and renewing a locker... I usually am down to take a breather after three laps on it to save my thighs anyway, ha! That said one bad one for...
