I bought a jacket that folds into its own pocket as its small and semi waterproof which I always take to a theme park and to be honest I do feel slightly dirty as i usually wear the same sort of clothes but the main thing is I know they are clean :D
Re: 60m Drop Tower for Pleasurewood Hills...
Well if Ice Blast at Blackpool and Skyraker 001 at Flambards have cameras I don't see why this couldn't have one. I guess it just depends on whether the park want one or not.
Re: 60m Drop Tower for Pleasurewood Hills...
Wow, really cool news for the park. I hope the planning permission gets the go ahead and that they get this. I feel its much needed at Pleasurewood and it will be great for the UK.
I think they call them Hupfburg just to let anyone know :D
By just going off the photo's on their microsite it looks like the Hupfburg's are okay as I think this sits behind The Bell (Die Glocke) and next to the water ride (Rio Dorado) sort of area.
For anyone interested in okay-ish...
Agreed.
Nothing to do with Thorpe, I just wanted to share that my workplace caught on fire tuesday night as well! We got everyone out and put the fire out too so quite proud :D
Just found this:

(don't know how to make them into links sorry)
Has a little bit of info and a few pictures of foundations, so nothing too exciting but still an update :)
You said yourself apart from the seating plan it is hard to compare the 2, but thats the 4D part right there whether it is a controlled spin or not.
Also, what difference does it make what type of track it is on, it's still 4D.
You previously said "4d to me is a coaster with seats on the...
It does sound fun indeed. Not sure about that ^ but with this whole reverse thing can you imagine little kids holding down reverse clogging the ride up? (Thats if it is on a track though)
Just found some more information on this ride:
- Made by dutch manufacturer ETF
- It's similar to Toy Story Midway Mania, in the way that you'll be in cars shooting targets
- Already mentioned 3D
- World first: fully controlable cars, forwards, reverse, left, right, on a track...
I remember seeing Madness at Alton towers but we didn't even know they were going to be there, was quite a nice surprise actually :D
I think it was some sort of BT staff event thing (Even though none of my family worked at BT).
I planned for Tornado at Sarkanniemi to be my 100th but due to messing up my count it ended up being their kiddie coaster called Vauhtimato (Caterpillar oval).
My 150th is Clone Zone at The Milky Way Adventure Park (an indoor powered batflyer, which is pretty good considering it's for kids)...
