^ Yeah... I looked at some pictures, and its definetely not 80 feet...I'm setting mine around 55-58. I'm also re-doing my Twisted Horseshoe roll...I can never seem to get it right.
Yeah...that definetely has been the suckiest part of the ride so far...you have to have both sides nearly identical or it screws everything up...
Thanks!
You bet!
Heres a small update...
Twisted Horseshoe Roll...took me long enough...I think it looks OK...I think the corkscrews...
I kind of got that on Storm Runner, my head kind of hurt when I was done with the ride from my head hitting the sides of the restraints, but I really liked the freedom I got from them, I agree that they arent necessary for TTD since it dosnt have any airtime, but I'll bet that airtime hill on...
I think the OTSR's are much better. They allow for a lot more airtime than the T-Bars. On Storm Runner with the OTSR's I had a lot of freedom compared to the T-Bars of TTD. And as mewantcandy said, Maverick will have a lot of airtimw because of the OTSR's. IMO the Intamin OTSR's are a lot better...
I think Chang looks pretty amazing...I probably wouldnt like either of them though...too many inversions for a standup, just from my experiences on Mantis, I really dont like some of the inversions on standups...
I'm going to say Great Bear...it was a fun and unique ride...and I have to agree that the support work is very cool and unique. The first drop is quite fun and I like the layout the way it goes all around the river and sooperdooperlooper.
I dont know what the g-s where on Sidewinder at HP, but it was pretty intense going backwards through down the hill and throuhg the inversions. As for Flat rides it would have to be Maxair.
