Not saying it wouldn't be awesome. But I think parks are realizing that bigger dosn't always mean better. Think about the forces involved with coasters. 5G's is 5G's whether the first drop is 300 feet, or 150 feet, whether the train is moving 90 mph or 50 mph. Just saying that it's more...
Strata and giga are just words. They have nothing to do with the intensity or quality of the rides. The most intense coasters I've been on are well under 300 feet. Look at El Toro, or Bizzaro and other rides that are consistently in people's top 5's. Height and speed can only get you so far...
A B&M giga would have a HUGE footprint. I read that the lift hill angle on I305 is 45* (to me, it looks greater than that, but I'm going to go with what I read). Which would make the lift about 424 feet, and would take up about 300 feet of space in the park. A B&M giga with a chain lift would...
Re: Re: Milf vs i305
Well, lets base everyone else's personal experiences on Jeff then, shall we? Since Jeff has never grayed out I guess no one else should.
Everyone responds to G forces differently. There are a lot of factors that go into it. Just because Jeff didn't gray/blackout dosn't...
B&M dosn't NEED a giga. Size and speed don't necessarily make the ride. B&M isn't Intamin, they don't break records with unreliable rides. I can't say I've loved every B&M I've ridden (liked everything but the 2 hypers), but the majority are great rides. B&M is damn good at what they do and they...
I'm thinking I want to read the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series again. I thought they were all great books, and I've really lost my passion for reading in the last few years and they brought it back.
Factoring in that Milf was the original Giga, I'm going to have to say Milf. I305 was more intense, even with the trims, but Milf is still intense, every once in a while, I'll still get a grey out at the bottom of the first hill leading into the overbank, and the two airtime hills offer some...
I wasn't fond of either of the B&M Hypers I've been on. Nitro and Apollo's Chariot. Chariot was better, but still didn't match up to Magnum at CP. Nitro was the worst, it felt completely forceless and disappointed me immensely. Their inverts on the other hand, I feel are very forceful and give a...
^ I wouldn't say it's pointless. Launches are fun. It looks to be a small park, and they might attract a fair amount of guests from that area. I would ride it...
Not even computers are perfect. They fixed the rollbacks with Ka and by developing the overlaunch system. I can't say for certain that it never rolls back, because I don't know, but I know the system was implented to eliminate rollbacks, or at least eliminate the high frequency of rollbacks.
How is it doing with people blacking out now that these changes have been made? I loved nearly blacking out when I rode it! Please tell me this didn't change anything...
Yeah there is actually a drifting X-Car model. I'm not sure if there are any in existence yet, but I know it's out there.

Just Ctrl-F and type "drifting," there's a little bit of info on it.
I'm assuming that he at least had some of his legs. I'm not saying that B&M bars don't offer more or less safety than the Intamin bars, but B&M hasn't had issues with riders being thrown from their rides in the past. And from a riders standpoint, B&M restraints feel safer.
Maybe it's just me, but I've always felt safer with B&M lapbars than the Intamin lapbars. I've always liked the Intamin bars better, because you feel more free to move around, but I can definitely see how someone can get thrown out; especially someone with no legs. But those B&M bars staple the...
