No love for the new series of a series of unfortunate events? Watched the first couple of episodes and it's still great.
So fed up with the DC universe series. Supergirl is dire, Arrow is three series overdue for being cancelled and Legends of Tomorrow is pure pants. At least LoT knows it's...
I remember "fairly regular" news of incidents at the Beach during the 70's/80's.
Most due to rider idiocy (like standing on the Nash prior to belts being fitted)
I've also looked for news articles, but it's too long ago and not sensational enough.
Anyone remember the accident at Rhyl? A car...
They all run to a very similar formula though. Jessica Jones a little different, but mostly fits
First three or four episodes = finding a "friendly face" to fight against "the bad guy".
Episodes 3-8 = either the hero or the friend almost dies as they find out the bad guy isn't the BIG bad guy...
There's a crazy old hermit - lives out in the dunes, by the sea. He's called Old Ben Knobby and he'd love to show you his sabre.
He's not interested in anything on sale here though :P
I didn't get much further than the above due to the atrocious spelling and the constant utter crap on sale.
Just junk after junk. Once I saw Howie's opinions on Star Wars films for sale, I knew there was nothing good on offer and gave up.

Windjammer and Log Jammer for those without enough roughage.
Stealth (when it hits without a splash)
Nemesis - where it just won't flush.
Nemesis Inferno - as above, but the was caused by a Vindaloo
Oblivion - don't look down!
Dragon's Fury - morning after an all you can eat Chinese buffet...
Those rapids are fantastic. I also love the amount of decor used on Scenics... It's the reason that's what they were called (and - apart from a lack of upstops - why they aren't really thrilling. Though Yarmouth's is actually pretty good.

OMFG. This confuses me so much. How the hell do I deal with this flustercluck?
So... I always rated X:\NWO as the worst coaster ever (below Go-Gators) because of one simple fact. With a 1.4m height limit, it was in the "thrill" category, which it fails to do in even the slightest of ways.

Friction burns are character building :)
The Fun House at Southport was okay, but couldn't hold a candle to the old Blackpool one.
It's quite scary that Southport has been gone over ten years now. And AA. It's weird to think of the mid/late 2000's as now being a point in history that people...
Have you got insider info? That's exactly what it is!!!
Music will only be playing on weekend and peak days, starting at 11:00 unless it's overcast and a squirrel is in the tree, under those circumstances, music may not play until 12:09. If the squirrel has a nut, it may be 23 minutes...
I do love those photos :)
I've read two Blackpool histories looking and can't find it mentioned.
I suspect it's something to do with the railways or gas works. It's a major building to not be mentioned - so that suggests something industrial.
Was probably demolished during the road building...
And still each time offer less than the year before while they're doing it.
It's cunning. Next year they'll say that they're only open for an hour a week and then backtrack to four hours a week and everyone will feel as though they've listened and are giving good value again!
I do love how people immediately get their hackles raised by the mention of Apple :P
The thing is, only a tiny proportion of people want to personalise things. Most people want a phone that is familiar and just works. They want to feel comfort in quality (whether real or perceived). This is...
