Nothing else comes in my top 20 in either wood or steel.
I remember a dream from when I was about probably 7 or 8, and there was a rubber dinghy slide on the clouds, but at the bottom of the drop was a ramp that shot you off the end. If you landed on the next cloud, then you survived, but if you came up short then you fell to your doom. I woke up...
I HATED it when they split the show into two separate rosters, and have always viewed that moment as to when the product really started to go downhill.
If anybody's interested, you can now find a ton of Attitude-era PPVs and shows on YouTube.
Why do you keep posting to threads where the last comment is usually one of yours saying the same thing but just posted a month earlier? :?
Muse. Sue and Fraser were shocked to find out that I don't know any of there songs, and since they introduced me to their music, I still don't know any! :P
Don't say that, you'll make Sue jealous!
I think the Rapids at Alton come closest to must-do non-coaster attractions at parks I regularly visit.
When I was in Florida, I always had to watch Festival of the Lion King at Animal Kingdom. Otherwise, I didn't really mind what I did or...
Re: Shenzhen Cred Whoring PTR - Day 3: Whoring + Happy Valle
Yeah, they both use pretty much the exact same video, but the real Soarin's pull the seats up so they are hanging whereas the knock-off versions push the seats up from the bottom.
I'm fairly certain there are a few of the knock-off...
Didn't you just make a topic attacking the place? Yet now you're talking about how they have a world-class coaster and have managed to maintain it extremely well? :?
I agree about the park losing its atmosphere, but I'd have to question about "not putting any investment in the place" or the perceived decline in visitor numbers.
The park was very busy at the CF-Live back in July, and I saw a picture the other day where the park was rammed and queue lines...
^ I never understand why some parks insist on artificially creating long waits for their rides on "quiet" days by blocking off seats and using less trains.
Sure, it might save the park a bit of money, but it also creates a load of pissed off guests who'd think twice about visiting the park...
Favourite is definitely GCI. They make some of the best wooden coasters around, and every coaster since Gwazi has pretty much been a big winner.
Least favourite would probably be a company like E&F Miler or Cavazza Diego, specialising in bland, crap and unimaginative, yet inexplicably rough...
Re: Shenzhen Cred Whoring PTR - Day 2: Filthy Whore
Brilliant trip reports as ever!
I LOLed at several captions, but the missing cred picture was fantastic!
I was such a useless mong when I visited Shenzhen (or, the three main parks, at least). Wood Coaster had about an hour queue, and none...
Yeah, I definitely still watch it occasionally; mainly the PPVs though and I don't really bother watching the weekly shows other than reading spoilers and then checking something out if it sounds particularly interesting.
It's mostly a load of rubbish, although sometimes you still get the odd...
The late 1990s were a great time to be a wrestling fan, as World Championship Wrestling went toe-to-toe with the World Wrestling Federation in a television ratings war that would change the face of wrestling forever and bring in a ton of new fans, including myself, in the process.
Both brands...
My 6 year old niece just got very happy about this news, although she'll fall out of the target age group next year. :P
Still, it's a big brand and people are already hyping it up, so it must be a quality investment, no? ;)
You only listed 3 rides which weren't working, one of which you knew would be down because we told you about it in your planning topic. Hardly 50%!
And the rest of the rides you just couldn't be arsed to queue for, didn't even think about getting FastPasses for and you didn't bother to watch...
My home park is Adventure Island, so:
1. Rage
2. Green Scream
3. Barnstormer
4. Mighty Mini Mega
After checking RCDB, I've just found out I've never got the Kiddi Koasta cred. :(
