Fry, although I seem to fry most of my food (probably a reason I'm getting fatter! :P).
So quick and easy, and less chance of burning my hand in the oven!
When was the last time a Vintage Cars ride was made?!
It's good the park is investing in new rides, as it shows the owners still care somewhat, but whether Vinatage Cars will be a success or not is anyone's guess really.
Re: £150 Million on the lottery, would you invest in themepa
I don't think so.
The whole point of doing the lottery for me is so you'll never have to work again if you win.
I wouldn't want to become involved in business!
Airtime definitely.
Inversions can be fun, and I occasionally enjoy a bit of hang time (although Abismo was taking it a bit too far!), but I'd still much rather have airtime, with my ass barely ever in the seat (Phoenix, Shambhala...etc...).
The biggest scare on that ghost train is seeing your reflection in the mirror!
If the new owners could get rid of that bouncing thing, that'd be nice. :)
My most recent "wow" moment has got to be from PortAventura a couple of months back (it's not like I've been too many places since then anyway!), and the two moments that stick out are the launch on Furius Baco and the whole of Shambhala.
I generally love launched coasters, with the major...
I'm a big fan of the stadium-style seating. They give so much space freedom, not having to worry about getting your hands or anything in someone's face on the ORP!
Colossos for me. Absolutely brilliant all the way around.
Expedition GeForce was good, but it didn't really blow me away.
Black Mamba is excellent and rates above GeForce in my rankings.
The only other one I can comment on is Krake. Oblivion is a mile better.
I really enjoy the first drop on The Swarm. It gives a nice bit of hang time before going down the drop.
The loops on Big Loop at Heide Park are disgusting and whiplash-inducing. Also, the pretzel loop on Tatsu stands out as one of the most stomach-churning inversions; the things is far too...
Re: Staffordshire Uni to offer degree, 'how to run a Theme P
Visitor Attraction Management is difficult; it was my lowest grade in my final year of uni and didn't even count towards my final degree (we swapped our 2 lowest from final year for our 2 best the previous year!
I love roller coasters in general as I love the adrenaline rush they give me, with the sensation of speed and wind passing by my face/body whilst watching the track go by underneath me. I love the way how they throw you out of the seat (airtime) or around yet remaining, for the most part...
Re: Favourite coasters from 4 most noted (steel) manufactere
This is a lot tougher than I first thought. I'm finding it harder and harder to rate coasters in a specific order, so I'll just give my top 5 for each manufacturer in no specific order. :)
B&M
Shambhala - PortAventura
Oblivion -...
2015 is shaping up to be a big year for me, with a Japan trip 99% certain, possibly America, possibly a couple of weekends around Europe, and the usual suspects around the UK.
It all depends on if I can save the money!
I can confirm that the new ride will be an Aquatrax, utilising the unused lake by the old walkway between Gloomy Woods and the main lake in front of the Towers.
Groundwork started last week:
I don't remember Rage being particularly smooth or good either, but this time it was excellent. No head banging, no thigh squashing and no arm bashing!
After reading people’s trip reports from Hong Kong, China, America (well, mostly Gavin’s reports!), Japan and wherever else in the world, I just thought it would be nice to bring all of us UK CFers right back down to reality by doing a Southend Adventure Island report.
My sister, her fiancée...
