Mine and Rach' s flight home is early evening Sunday from Katowice so Saturday is our only option. Sunday probably makes more sense for those staying on for the final night.
I've just noticed the meet up time for Energylandia is at 9:30 anyway so will probably give Zatorland a miss unless we...
Just got our act together and we'll be staying at the River Park aswell.
Anyone got any plans for the Zatorland credit? I see it opens up at 09:30 on the Saturday so it makes sense to get it first thing before Energylandia opens at 10:00, unless there is a planned goon migration at some point...
With the announcement of Hyperion opening & coming across some cheap flights, me and Rach have decided to book and we'll now be joining for the weekend. :)
Our flight home is early evening on the Sunday so we'll need to leave Legendia around 4pm ish, but that should still leave plenty of time...
Glad you can make it Sue, but I think you'll find that Bagatelle is closed on Monday & Tuesday this coming week. :(
Anyway, our tickets (and Pass Rapid!) for Asterix are purchased so see you all on Sunday!
Just been looking to buy some Asterix tickets this evening and it appears that the 15-25 year old tickets are not valid on weekends, so that rules out that option!
Looks like the only reasonable option will be the standard online dated adult tickets for €4.
The winner here surely has to be the Intamin Reverse Freefall coasters, or more specifically, Superman: Escape from Krypton at SFMM. 415ft towers of vertical up/down gives 0G airtime for the full duration. RCDB puts the airtime duration at 6.5 seconds for Tower of Terror II at Dreamworld, so...
I can't comment on the predicted queue times having never visited Asterix before, but if others suggest it could be busy then we (thats me and Rach) are also in support of the fast pass option.
It seems a few of us need all of the credits (myself included) so for a much more relaxed and cred...
I had to rise from the depths of lurking to post in this topic. :)
Most themepark trains don't interest me that much and usually only get ridden once everything else has been done, but there are exceptions to these, especially when steam is involved! Dollywood easily wins in this category...
In a bid to actually make some progress and upload some photos I’m gonna speed things up a bit and just upload some photos and my comments on the rides/parks.
Cinecitta World
It was really surreal to walk through the main street of a major themepark during its opening hours and being the...
Enjoying all the reports so far guys, bring back some great memories of the week. I also echo Ian’s comments about this being one of the more relaxed and enjoyable lives I’ve been on. Whilst a large group can be more exciting with such a wide range of people, the intimacy of our group size...
Me and Rach are now finally back home, arriving at 4am this morning having spent a couple of relaxing days around Lake Garda and Venice after the end of the live!
First of all thanks to Nic & Ian for all the organisation and discounts. It all went very smoothly and was great fun along the way...
I completely agree Furie, someone must have noticed it had stalled after that amount of time, but with basic knowledge of the systems at play here, its the best and most plausible scenario at the moment and a way to cheat the computer system to allow 2 trains in the same block segment.
If a...
It does amaze me how most of the general public and media don't seem to realise that rollercoasters are gravity powered and once they get moving, there is no control to stop them mid track!
I think Pokemaniac's comments on page 7 of this topic best sum up the most plausible explanation so far...
The next morning was much the same. We checked out of the hotel and dumped our stuff in the car and then entered the park for the second day.
As the hotel was even quieter this morning (looking at the list at breakfast, there can't have been more than 20 rooms in use) we thought we stood a...
