Nice work - you are able to just freely wander around the site!?
As for F47, it doesn't look like a layout change to me - more likely just a foundation for a diagonal brace for a support, or some feature which is not part of the track (eg. entrance sign, power substation).
I kind of hope Tornado survives as it's a pretty unusual - if unpleasant - ride experience, but it it's a hell of a long shot that any park would buy it. Maybe some showman will run it as a travelling coaster.
It does sound like they are planning to open at the weekend; this is from the AT website:
Of course it's such a rapidly changing situation that they could decide to delay opening at any time. Fingers crossed.
This and the mine train will take them to 18 coasters - the second highest number of coasters in a single park in the World. I'm assuming there is more to come so we could well see Magic Mountain's record equalled and surpassed next year!
That thing needs retheming to a pile of scrap metal really.
Still, at least they are doing something with it, it's really weird at the moment how the whole park is really nicely themed and laid out, then there is this completely unthemed SLC out on its own at the edge of the park.
It's a decent little ride - not exactly great, but punchy and unique, certainly. It only had one train in 2018 so I would expect that's still the case. Only 8 riders per train so the queue moves very slowly!
