Jinma Officially Go Bonkers With New Inverted Model

It's actually kinda cute that they're learning and continuing to dish out "new" models.

    Do you like fastfood?

It's because they get paid way lower than minimum wage, so they have to rely on tips in order to like, live. Depending on the state, a base pay for servers may be less than $5 an hour without considering tips. And the problem is tipping is still not "formally required" or anything like that, so...

Best coaster per unit length; what coaster utilises its length most effectively?

Looking at my Top 30, Piraten, Nemesis, Storm Chaser, and surprisingly enough Fonix are all under 3,000 ft in length and all incredible rides. Fonix being just under 3,000 ft and the others being under 2,500 ft, with Nemesis being the shortest. The thing that all these rides have in common is...

Six Flags Great America | Wrath of Rakshasa | B&M Dive Coaster | 2025

Remember it's not using the holding brake yet... that'll shave off a few mph. The layout has a nice length to it, but it doesn't look particularly exciting after that third inversion. And then there's the B&M smoothness these days...

    Cedar Point | Siren's Curse | Vekoma Tilt Coaster | 2025

But considering the layout that they had available, I'd say they did well with it's placement (despite being right next to a dive coaster with a similar gimmick). That midway opposite of Iron Dragon was looking pretty dire last year, so having that interaction will bode very well. If they were...

Collecting Crappy Colorado Creds - Day 3: Spite

Today involved a bit of exploring, with my friend showing me around some towns in the region and driving through the mountains. Again, leisurely start to the morning, but we started out with lunch at a cool restaurant in the tiny town of Empire. From there, we drove to Copper Mountain for their...

    More China Cred Whoring

It might not have been, considering you're probably used to it, but this just seems like a grueling weekend doing several of these city/kiddie parks each day. Good haul of creds at least. It's funny you're at the point where you have to start revisiting these places as they begin to replenish...

La Mer de Sable | Wild Buffalo | GCI Wooden Coaster | 2025

I dunno. It's interesting to see GCI's take on the Gravity Group family woodie, but I'm just not seeing a lot of airtime opportunities, whereas GG is pretty good about putting in a bunch of little hops. It flows nicely, and I like that underground section, but the reliance on turns and corners...

Collecting Crappy Colorado Creds - Day 3: Spite

I wouldn't say breathing itself feels any different, but hydration is definitely something I've learned to stay on top of whenever I'm over there for a ski trip. I can easily get minor headaches if I'm not drinking enough water, so I find myself taking a daily Advil or something whenever I'm...

Collecting Crappy Colorado Creds - Day 3: Spite

We had a late start to the morning but eventually hit the road. On the way to Glenwood Springs, we took the scenic route up Loveland Pass. Not gonna lie, little terrifying driving up there, and I imagine much freakier in the peak of winter. We arrived at Glenwood Springs in the...

Collecting Crappy Colorado Creds - Day 3: Spite

Yeah 4/6 is pretty good considering the shuttle loop had been SBNO all season (possibly longer?), and the other spite being a kiddie cred (families/kids wouldn't be at the park at those hours, so why bother running it). Was honestly surprised to see everything else open, especially for that time...

Collecting Crappy Colorado Creds - Day 3: Spite

Day 1 - Denver & Elitch Gardens I did this trip back in October, but I'm only getting around to uploading this now because 1) I was trying to finish up my Europe report, and 2) wanted to give myself a break from writing up trip reports... or at least I didn't want long breaks in between...

The future of Euro Mir at Europa Park

I thought I saw somewhere a couple weeks ago that Euro Mir had its trains refurbished. I'd honestly be bummed to see it go. After the big four it's my favorite coaster in the park, and it looks great off-ride. I understand it's not the best, but I had a lot of fun on it, even the main coaster...

Kingda Ka and Green Lantern's removal for new 2026 record-breaking coaster

And they seemed to stay in decent shape too. Now they can recycle the track pieces for Top Thrill 2!

Small News From The Theme Park Industry

That's a well-needed upgrade and will improve the ride from questionably fun to actually good. There's a great layout in there but it just doesn't run well. Shame that the Titan Track is just such an eyesore.
