The Boomerang at Walygator Sud-Ouest has had its loop taken down for some kind of inspection/repair/replacement, which is unusual:

It’s not that uncommon for individual sections to be replaced. Darien Lake had the loop on its Boomerang retracked a few years back:

Yeah, we had a crazy wind storm come through around 12:30 this afternoon and temperatures also dropped some 20° in that 30 minutes. Disney shut down its boats during it and I assume the SkyLiner

Looks like Crealy have revealed their inverting flat ride, it's a Zamperla Air Race called Rotor.

That is alongside Pirates Plummet which is a SBF Visa Drop Tower which is heavily rumoured to be Magma at Paultons Park. A wild card is Skyraker at Flambards.

It is confirmed on the park's press release on their website that its Magma at Paultons Park

I visited Heide in 2022. Sure, there's the parts where rides have been unceremoniously removed without replacement, but that had very little negative impact on what was otherwise a stellar day that I enjoyed more than my visit to nearby Hansa. I see loads of negative comments about the park, but that doesn't marry up with my experience whatsoever.

The worst thing about the park is that Merlin have seemingly forgotten about its existence, and have added like 1 new attraction this decade...

Heide-Park’s Big Loop will be receiving new-gen Vekoma trains this year. As evidenced by the image, the new trains will sport the red, white, and blue color scheme of the original Arrow trains that ran on the track until 2009.

This reminds me of a bit of a mystery about the fate of the Alton Towers Corkscrew's trains. After the ride closed in 2008 there was an auction for one of the front cars, which I remember well being in the local news, and it's still viewable on BBC news: here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7859000.stm
It sold for £7,200.

However it's also common knowledge that Corkscrew's trains were sent to Heide Park and have been running on Big Loop since 2010, as mentioned on rcdb and elsewhere:
I checked my photos from my visit in 2014 and it definitely had 2 trains (and they both had a front car!).

What's going on here? A few possibilities:
1) They bought the car back from the family that won the auction
2) They sourced a new front car from somewhere
3) Was the auction just for a loan of the car? But that would be a lot of money to pay for a loan.
4) Somebody jumped to the reasonable conclusion that Big Loop's trains came from Corkscrew but actually they are not

Possibilities 1 and 2 actually seem unlikely to me - I mean why would they auction off one of the cars if they were going to re-use the train? So is it actually fake news that the Corkscrew's trains went to Big Loop? I put this to the collective wisdom of the Coasterforce community!

Really? 🤔
Colossus, Flug, Krake, Desert Race, Scream... All rides that are more than worth a visit IMO. It's been some time since my last visit, but ops were good, and the staff was very friendly. Guess things have really changed.
If you love seeing vast areas abandoned, its the park for you
