Silver Dollar City’s river rapids removed

Silver Dollar City has removed the Lost River of the Ozarks rapids ride to make room for a huge new 2020 project. In addition to the ride removal and draining the lake, a very large area surrounding the attraction has been cleared. Infinity Falls opens at SeaWorld Orlando

SeaWorld opened Infinity Falls, an Intamin Amusement Rides river rapids attraction themed around a lost jungle river surrounded by the remains of an ancient civilization. The unique feature of the ride is a 30 foot (9m) tall vertical elevator lift followed by a 40 foot (12m) drop, the tallest of any river raft in the world! Four killed at Dreamworld

Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia

Four people, one woman and four men aged 32-42 years old, were killed at Dreamworld when a river rapids raft flipped over on the loading platform. When an empty raft got stuck in the station, a conveyor belt malfunction forced the returning raft onto the one ahead and tipping it over. The park will close for several days to allow for an investigation to take place.
