Six Flags cancelled this year’s Fright Fest events and instead will launch the socially distanced Hallowfest at parks that are open. Six Flags announces 2019 attractions

Six Flags announced the lineup of new attractions coming to each of the the chain’s parks in 2019. Ranging from roller coasters to water slides to new kiddie areas with family friendly rides, this is by far the largest group of new additions the chain has made due to the acquisition of five new properties earlier this year. Six Flags acquires five more parks

Six Flags is adding five new parks to its US portfolio. This includes three water parks and two amusement parks. Among them are Darien Lake and Frontier City, both of which were owned by Six Flags but sold in 2006 to alleviate debt. It is currently unclear what future plans exist for the parks.
