October 23, 2020 – After closing in mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic, Six Flags Mexico resumed operations with safety guidelines in place to help control crowds and prevent the spread of disease. Those guidelines match procedures already setup at the chain’s U.S. locations and guests must now make reservations online for all Six Flags parks operating in 2020.
“We have everything ready to have fun together ensuring your safety and health,” the park stated on Twitter. “We implemented an innovative reservation system to return safely to the fun of Six Flags Mexico and avoid crowds.”
This is in addition to the reopening Six Flags Mexico’s Hurricane Harbor Oaxtepec water park, which restarted operations on September 12, 2020.
