Women Dies at Alton Towers Hotel

The 29 year-old woman from Bradford, West Yorkshire is thought to have been discovered by friends on Monday morning at Alton Towers Hotel in Staffordshire.

She was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene. Police were then called to investigate the sudden death.

Staffordshire Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious and a report was being prepared for the coroner.

An Alton Towers spokeswoman said: "Paramedics responded immediately but unfortunately were unable to do anything.

"Naturally our thoughts at this time are with her family and friends."

1. It was in the hotel, so it's hardly park news. People die in hotels all the time.

2. The story is over 4 years old.
