What is your favorite vekoma?

This one aged poorly, but thread needs an update of some description. I'll ditch the cheating mine trains/woodies and go for a top 10 of new style big stuff.

If you don’t mind me asking @HeartlineCoaster; why is it that Lech ranks comparatively lowly for you among the top Vekomas list? That’s normally the one that seems to top people’s Vekoma lists, so I must admit that I’m surprised to see it in only 9th on yours.

9th out of some ridiculous amount of Vekomas ain't too shoddy.

I didn't really enjoy the grey-out-to-other-forces ratio of it, but I can see why others do. They've executed this quirk much better in other models since and hopefully people get to experience and appreciate that more over time.

How many lists have you even seen with half those rides though?

Loved Rock n Roller and Everest, but I'd have to go with Stuntfall as a personal favourite, such a solid, intense ride that exceed expectations massively.

Guardians was great fun, but the layout did nothing for me. I love 80's music and the guardians franchise as a whole so that was fun, but not a great coaster.

Nighthawk is my legit answer. My favorite flyer(above Tatsu) and ranked #13 out of 125 overall. Freaky Hangtime when your rotated before the first drop. Great snappy overbank. Awesome near misses with the lake. Great lateral floatiness on the first rotation. The backwards inside loop if in my top 5 elements of all time. More intense than a pretzel loop? Another great lateral whip on the next half flip onto your stomach. Another one fore good measure. Then a awesome double roll finale with the weirdest form of Hangtime I have ever felt. Overall, I hopped in line right as it went down. Waited 20 minutes for it to come up, then got on the second train once it got up. Sadly that was my only ride, but it was in the front row, and it was shockingly smooth. Overall really unique and fun coaster that honestly feels like stepping back into the early 2000's when you ride it.

Flying Cobra's also took me by surprise with just how intense and smooth it was, bt the layout just does nothing for me.

I haven't ridden any of the major Vekomas on my to-do list - Lech, FLY, Wrath Of Zeus, Fonix, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Invincible Warriors, Formula, Battlestar Galactica, the Hyper Space Warps, nor the Fighter Jets (Top Gun launch coasters). I would also love to give Big Air a go, but at least I've got Flash: Vertical Velocity and Circuit Breaker to look forward to later this year. So for now my fav remains Odyssey, even though I hate SLCs.

The only Vekoma that makes my top 10% is Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind so Imma have to say that. It's a really good ride, loads of fun, I'd say Top 40ish, maybe? Although that's largely to do with the audio and the lavish theming rather than the ride hardware itself.

Tron: Lightcycle Run didn't exactly blow my mind, but it's probably the next Vekoma on the list. Again, more to do with the presentation and the overall experience rather than the actual coaster but still, it's a solid attraction.

Then FLY. Didn't blow me away as a ride, but it's still an impressive feat of engineering and Rookburgh as an area is phenomenal.

Stunt Fall is worthy of a mention. It's a clunky old dinosaur of a ride, but it is legit terrifying. I liked it lots.

Honourable mentions to Expedition Everest and Lech Coaster.
