Hey everyone!
I am curious to find rollercoasters that are weird and have this weird nostalgic vibe - almost like a liminal space. It is mostly old rollercoasters that seem so outdated in our times because their aesthetic is typical to another time period. But not necessarily old rides only. Share the weirdest coasters you've seen or know about!
For me examples of that are:
- Heide Park in general - I've never been there but it seems sooo weird and distant both because of its location but also because of the colors of the ride and the photos give this liminal feeling
- old vekoma boomerangs/giant inverted boomerangs/invertigos - they give this old vibe soooo much
- all Vekoma SLC's - they are straight out of another time
- K3 Roller Skater at Plopsaland de Panne
- Speed of Sound in Wallibi Holland - the name, the aesthetic, the music and the surrounding area are like going back in time
What would you add to the list? Any unique rides or clones that are just so nostalgic?
And if you've been to Heide Park can you add something?
