It's the same layout, so I'd imagine any thematic differences would be very minor.

Basic question, but do we know who actually built this coaster? I'd had in my mind that it was Intamin but there is no manufacturer listed on rcdb, so was this an "in house" build (seems unlikely for such an unusual/risky design)?

For a relatively obscure manufacturer, Universal seem to like Setpoint; they seem to have had a fair few Universal projects (didn’t they do Pteranodon Flyers and/or its Singapore equivalent whose name I can’t currently remember?).

I wonder why Setpoint don’t seem to have done a lot outside of Universal parks?
